Youth in our coaching staff, advantage or disadvantage?

With the youth and limited years of experience in our coaches on both sides of the ball, is it an advantage or disadvantage? I can see some good in terms of connecting to the players of this generation. I can see a disadvantage playing against a team with more experienced coaches. I like the youth movement and think it was much needed!

No the season hasn't started, and NO this isn't a bash of the coaches thread, just want to know your thoughts on this!!

Has to be some growing pains as they gain experience in their new positions and working with new personnel.

The bigger issue is that the offense is ready to win now and the defense is the 30th worst in the NFL.

They will be outcoached and hopefully they will learn from it.

At this level, all coaches are good.....little difference, the talent on the field is what matters, not on the roster.....the talent on the field!!
There is no salary cap for Coaches, like their is for players. The FO and staff that gets the right guys, and can keep them out of the hot tub......etc!!!!
BTW I added the exclamation points, since you like them so much!!!!!! Some of the dinosaurs can't hear, but they can read....so no need to yell!!!!!!

there is no advantage or disadvantage, the answer is do we allow it to grow if it shows improvement or do we clown the fans again and make a mess in 3 years.

Both....you probably wont see the stubbornness to change, and outdated philosophies that we had under Zimmer and Eberflus, but I also worry about how quick a young staff like this will be to adjust in game and how effective those adjustments will be. I'm anticipating we have a better overall scheme, but as soon as this defense gets punched in the face it'll be interesting to see how Parker and his staff reacts.

I think it’s more of an advantage. Players are young guys, we have guys on staff who have been to the big games and been apart of goid organization. I think out weighs what disadvantages comes with inexperience

Both....you probably wont see the stubbornness to change, and outdated philosophies that we had under Zimmer and Eberflus, but I also worry about how quick a young staff like this will be to adjust in game and how effective those adjustments will be. I'm anticipating we have a better overall scheme, but as soon as this defense gets punched in the face it'll be interesting to see how Parker and his staff reacts.

it would be great to see us adjust during the game/at halftime instead of us having one game plan and letting the opposing team dictate things all game long!!

Its a bit of both, There will be a learning curve and it will take about 2-3 years for CP's system to fully work here. The way both the HC/OC and DC has constructed their coaching tree is a step in the right direction for continued continuity if people were to get plucked. I'm on board with the youth movement.

For me I am watching half-time adjustments this year to evaluate this staff.
