back injuries for a lineman are some of the worst; remember how much trouble Tyron Smith had.

Now they can be healed in some cases or fixed; Tyron had a problem for several years before surgery helped but sometimes there is nothing that can be done.
That would explain his problems this year

Absolutely not. He's is immune to injuries & father time. According to many experts here, he's never had anything less than pancake blocks and All Pro seasons. Good for at least another 10 years.

Yep. He held his hat at one point in his career for not missing a single game since high school. Can't remember which year he finally got injured but it's been on ever since. Doesn't seem that long ago we had a great OL with Zack, Tyron, Frederick.

Well everybody's different it's not just the age and the mileage look at Derrick Henry that's why a lot of teams didn't go after him 'cause they're waiting for him to fall off a Cliff but he's shocking all that mileage and banging on his body since college...

and if we stick to the offensive line, how old is the LT in SF that held out got huge money and how many miles does that dude have? Martin can play another 3 years at a similar level and still be a lot more effective than what you can get out of his replacement.

Ill let this man choose for himself but Hoffman did good job in limited duty the last few years when martin came out of games... our future is on this team in that regards IF you wanted to Beebee can be the RG, move Hoffman to Center or simply use Hoffman at RG etc BUT is Hoffman better than martin is now and day another season?

Tom, made points and questioned the coaching staff as many on this board have regarding Zeke's usage.

It sure would be nice if we were looking at the Cowboys new HC/OC in the game Sunday, he actually knows what to do with RBs.

He was brought in to be a guy that helps with the short yardage downs..It's hard to argue against the point being made.

Why are over 75% of his touches coming on long down situations? Why in those long down situations are we going heavy set and tipping the defense off about what we're doing? Makes no sense if we're being objective.

It was a low cost marketing ploy that failed miserably. Jerry thought Cowboys fans would be excited about it.
