Zeke was ok, he needs 10 carries a game. Pollard deserves 15+
It’s easy to lol fast when your tank is never empty and you barely get hit. Wait until nov when he takes the same amount of hits as zeke. Then we’ll see how much speed he has.

Zeke cant handle the load anymore. Its clear all those hits have slowed him down. 50/50 is about the best Zeke can hope for imo. We looked a lot better in the run game giving Pollard more opportunities.

Imagine watching the Cowboys and thinking Zeke needs more carries and Pollard needs less. It’s straight up insanity.

Even Romo and Aikman have both commented the last two weeks how Zeke isn’t the same guy anymore.

I am happy that they used both guys tonight.. It's how they need to do it going forward. Zeke playing thunder to Pollard's lightning is a winning formula. Stick to that and let the defense keep us close and we will win 12 games this season easy. Moore just has to keep himself from getting all pass happy at the worst possible time.. I don't trust him frankly.. but clearly knowing that he's playing with a backup QB has forced him to dial back all that cute crap. Now if he will just keep calling that gameplan when Dak comes back we'll be in great shape.

he looks good.. i just wish he would keep his head up and try to avoid tackles instead of trying to run over people all the time.

I honestly don’t know what your watching.. Pollard is outplaying Zeke in every facet.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m the guy still hoping Zeke can shine once again. I’d love to see both backs just smash their way into the Endzone.. exp right now while we’re playing with our backup QB. Yet Zeke continues to be outshined by Pollard.

Zeke is still valuable. He’s a tough SOB, that can block, and gain the hard yards. But the days of him running through players, beating defenses to the edge, and setting the offense tone is over. I’m sure he wants to, but he just doesn’t run with authority, or makes the right cutbacks to get open. And if he did, he doesn’t have the explosion or acceleration to capitalize.

Its really unfortunately, bc we need the “Special” Zeke back.. but he doesn’t have it. Or at least to this point.. hasn’t shown it for some time now.

IF KM keeps calling the game like this , YES.. he has too much confidence in dak and becomes pass happy. odd how Moore calls a much more balanced game and seems to have deeper playbook with backup qb and Runner..blows my mind.

Was yelling at Aikman after he made some comment about the Cowboys needing but not having a guy anymore who can get the bruiser yards (my paraphrase)... almost immediately after we'd just seen Zeke punish two Gints trying to keep him out of the endzone.

What do you want, Troy? That was mindless stupidity.

Exactly the opposite.

Love what I'm seeing. Pollard's getting some nice runs, but so is Zeke. Glad we have both.
