Zone defense

This was the best zone defense I have seen us perform in quite a long time. It used to be frustrating to see teams convert long 3rd downs, and yesterday was a very solid performance when zone was called.

We could pressure with 4 they went max protect on alot of 3rd downs..thats a winning formula on 3rd and long..zone rush 4..teams been doing that to us for years. exhibit A: Nick Fangio's "Special Dallas" defense....simply get pressure with 4 and drop 7 into zone...

Luckily Watson is as bad as Dak in reading zone defenses, and he had a problem with his accuracy too. Don’t know how he played better in Houston than he does now.

It's too early to tell whether our pass defense is that good, or if Watson is just that dreadful.
