Missed a 32 Yarder and from 43 in a 3 point loss to a division rival for first place . The Jets can’t help but flounder , coaching change or not .

The best kicker in the NFL plays in Dallas and it’s not just FG’s but forcing teams to return kicks by placement.

How about CJ Goodwin back to back penalties against Det on a kickoff . This is what Dallas uses a roster spot for , Goodwin never sees the field other than kicks . It’s a luxury on a mediocre team .

I don't think CJ Goodwin is the difference between this team being competitive or not

Now given he's only here for special teams, if he isn't a net positive then yea, let's move on

But cutting him isn't going to turn around this season

No of course not . Carry an extra linebacker a CB a safety anyone who might actually take the field for the Defense or Offense.

Side note . Tyron 77 had holding penalty wipe out a Jet TD , on a running play . Ouch. Ex Pokes biting the Jets chances

I'm very much in the camp that keeping a guy that excels on special teams is 100% worth it

And not a K, P, LS or returner, but gunners

And if Goodwin isn't that guy, we need to move on

But a random LB, CB or Safety who's goal is to make a name for themself as a LB, CB or Safety doesn't really give us anything over what we currently have
