Yeah eagles had all of five or six wins in 1997 not exactly relevant but a fan shot a flare gun at the 49ers fans and a jail was installed in the stadium after that I believe.

I was not questioning whether your correction was accurate but did emphasize that human beings threw objects at Santa Claus. I would hope everyone, outside of Philadelphia, PA, recognizes that as abnormal behavior--even for sports fans.

In all fairness that one made sense to me. They were the worst team in the NFL and won their last two games putting in the 2nd draft spot when a young kid from USC was the prize of the draft (OJ Simpson).

Could it be Philly is more passionate just because it is not a college football town and high school football means nothing in Philly. All they have is the Eagles. Just guessing

I live outside of DC and they just got out from having a lousy owner.
Boy am I jealous.
I went to a Cowboys game at the Vet in 1987, yeah, they don't like the Cowboys, lol.
