DTs described as more physical

Tank won’t retire. He’s going to sign a 1-2 year deal with a contender like Detroit or Washington
And before long he will get hurt again and if said team makes it to the SB, he might well get a ring riding the pine lol. He is struggling to stay healthy.

This guy would start for us day one. Massive dude with a motor.
I would trade down into the late 1st round, pick up an extra 2nd and 3rd (or 4th), and either pick Ty Robinson with that traded down 1st (if late in the round) or use our original 2nd round pick to get him hoping he is still available. Would hate to lose not getting him. Cowboys D needs this player badly.

I agree that Harmon isnt good yet....but I think his lack of physicality comes from just not being very "good" yet. I've only watched limited tape of his so far, but he might be a total steal for someone. The guy plays with some of the worst technique you'll see at times but is so physically gifted it just doesnt matter. Multiple times against Ohio State he plays with high pad level against a double team and still just takes on two OL like its nothing. He is a guy that I think teams will interview him trying to get a feel for how coachable he is. Playing against better competition at the NFL level and pro coaching could take him to the next level. Get him more disciplined and consistent down to down and that physicality could really show up. He seems to have the traits of an Eberflus defender, but is likely a bit of a project.

Harmon is so long that he just kind of slithers off blocks. OLs often can't get a clean shot on him.

Long arms + heavy/strong hands is a heck of a combo, and it's how he defeats so many blocks despite looking like nothing special moving on the hoof.

No doubt about that. He has a rare physical skill set. It’ll be tougher to get away just on physical ability in the pros but I think he has another gear in him if he can be more consistent with his technique.
