80s:
DE ed too tall jones
DT randy white
DT john dutton
DE jim jeffcoat

DT's....
Bob lilly
Randy white
Jethro pugh
Leon lett
David irving

We can see what DT's chris jones and Carter can do to wreck a offense

Need one of those type again
Straight up the gut.. fastest way to the Qb

Would add to Micah

Few teams make it to the SB without a stud DT. Over the last 30 years or so, Dallas has used 1 first round draft pick on DT. That was Mazi Smith. We keep talking about building from the inside on both sides of the ball, but the Cowboys do not share our opinion on that. This year, they may be forced into drafting DTs, but I am still betting not till the 3rd round.

David Irving? Get outta here your list needs a minor edit. Absolute legends do not deserve to have a turd like that guy on their list.

Jay Ratliff LOL.
Jay Ratliff was a stud of a player that Jerry very unwisely played out of position. You put him at UT or 3-4 DE and he's a perennial pro bowler and talked about as one of the better interior players we've had. Instead, Jerry ruined yet another player's career. Did the same thing w/ Crawford(no, not quite as good as Rats, but a good player). Crawford was another UT/3/4DE type, who Jerry played at 4/3DE. Stupid stupid stupid.
