Top 100 2025 NFL free agents: Tee Higgins, Sam Darnold lead the way

Updated Feb. 13, 2025 11:42 a.m. ET

On March 10 at noon ET, free agents may begin talking with new teams, and at 4 p.m. ET on March 12, signings can begin with the start of the new league year. Here's our ranking of the top 100 free agents available. We've worked to find a good mix of positions, teams, up-and-comers just off their rookie contracts and wise veterans probably signing their last deals.

12. Osa Odighizuwa, DT, Cowboys

Odighizuwa, 26, came on in the second half of 2024 with four sacks in the final nine games. All eyes are on Micah Parsons' break-the-bank extension in Dallas, but Odighizuwa should get north of $20 million a year as a high-upside three-technique. Washington is already paying two DTs well in Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen, but Dan Quinn had Odighizuwa in Dallas, and the Eagles showed everyone the power of rotating three top interior defensive linemen in their Super Bowl run.
I sure would to keep him but at $20M (or more) a year I'm letting him walk and taking the comp pick.

Breaking news, Cowboys and WR Tee Higgins have a deal in place, Cowboys owner Jerry jones does this to make fans happy, and says he's ALL IN!!! Breaking news, it's now week 4 of free agency and the Cowboys have been quiet, but they have signed former bears place holder John Doe to a 2 year, 1.25-million-dollar deal!!

Commander fans are already wearing Higgins jerseys........it's my understanding their new owner has already approved big-time free-agent signings.

damn already???? Maybe this owner just happened to see what happened in the division with that green team! Hopefully this owner realizes the right moves to make and not make the moves the franchise made YEARS ago when they signed all these other FA's and they didn't do anything! They did well last off season, see how it goes, I hope their owner can show jerry a few things lol

I think most of these guys will be out of the Cowboys price range, that includes Osa and maybe even Golston. But if they do keep on of them I believe it will be Golston.

I would love for them to sign Milton Williams, but I think he will cost more than Osa. Maybe Javon Kinlaw can be had for less money. I thought he played well for the Jets this year and he could be a guy who needed time to develop. His best years could be in front of him.

The problem with any of these free agents is they have to want to play in Dallas because Dallas is not going to outbid anyone for their services.

Word is they wanna do everything possible to win a Super Bowl while Daniel is on his rookie deal
It's all they are talking about

It would not surprise me at all to see them signing Garrett AND Higgins

I def expect him to be on our radar ......especially since his Dline coach is now an assistant coach for the Cowboys. But Glenn may decide to sign him.

Coog quit spreading rumors about Jerry signing the most sought after John Doe!

I'd make a run at M. Williams DT from the Eagles. I think he has more upside than Osa.

I'd take a chance on Greenlaw LB from the 9ers or Jones LB from Seattle.

For whatever reason, Chase Young still is an intriguing FA. He won't command big bucks and still is young enough to show his full potential.

Does Dallas take a shot on Steffon Diggs as their WR2 ?

Awesome….we love window shopping while we sign some dude who’s been cut from 8 teams
Lol...after I wrote my last post I said to myself, "they aren't signing anyone until the days before the draft and they won't be anyone we heard of or wanted."

We'll get nothing and like it!

I can see all three as possible targets ........especially GreenLaw and Diggs. Chase could be a nice rotational player. Surprising he's a good run defender

I like Osa, but you're right for that contract I wonder if that money could be spent elsewhere? Would the Cowboys be better off signing a BJ Hill/Jarren Reed and then prioritizing a couple DTs in the draft?

Inside LB seems like a no brainer position for the Cowboys to address in FA seeing those contracts don't break the bank. Besides that CB and OL look like good areas to address based on who's avavailable. The only issue is penny pinching Stephen and fact 15 teams have over 40 million in cap space :(.

Anyone else like shopping out of the $1 vinyl bin?
