Top 100 2025 NFL free agents: Tee Higgins, Sam Darnold lead the way

Updated Feb. 13, 2025 11:42 a.m. ET

On March 10 at noon ET, free agents may begin talking with new teams, and at 4 p.m. ET on March 12, signings can begin with the start of the new league year. Here's our ranking of the top 100 free agents available. We've worked to find a good mix of positions, teams, up-and-comers just off their rookie contracts and wise veterans probably signing their last deals.
I think there is a decent chance we go after Kinlaw and Will Hernandez. I think they will also make a trade for a vet WR

Breaking news, Cowboys and WR Tee Higgins have a deal in place, Cowboys owner Jerry jones does this to make fans happy, and says he's ALL IN!!! Breaking news, it's now week 4 of free agency and the Cowboys have been quiet, but they have signed former bears place holder John Doe to a 2 year, 1.25-million-dollar deal!!
Are you saying the deal fell through?

Lol...after I wrote my last post I said to myself, "they aren't signing anyone until the days before the draft and they won't be anyone we heard of or wanted."

We'll get nothing and like it!
There isn't much available. A lot of the list is pretty much toast. I'd recommend Bolton, an olineman, a receiver, and some dline help.

Luckily I will be on vacation that week and will have some distractions to keep me from watching us sit back and collect comp picks. I’m sure Jerry and Stephen will be on vacation that week too. That’s at least a good 2 weeks before they start thinking about signing free agents.

would love to build inside out and have a nice rotation on DL, its a light class this year IMHO
if we can get Milton Williams, bring Osa back, get Holland to fill in saftey gaps, take a chance on Greenlaw recovering from Achilles (a performance based contract)

all that would be a wish list. I don't see us signing any of the top 100.

can somebody post the bottom 150....that's where we are shopping

Commander fans are already wearing Higgins jerseys........it's my understanding their new owner has already approved big-time free-agent signings.
damn already???? Maybe this owner just happened to see what happened in the division with that green team! Hopefully this owner realizes the right moves to make and not make the moves the franchise made YEARS ago when they signed all these other FA's and they didn't do anything! They did well last off season, see how it goes, I hope their owner can show jerry a few things lol
I seen reports that Higgins will stay with the Bengals.

Wouldn’t the comp pick only be forthcoming if the Cowboys lose more free agents than they sign?
That usually happens anyway.
And the contracts have to be of near equal value to offset each other. Unless that has changed.
Vets with over 10 years, the highest they can get is a 5th round comp pick.

This is what happened with Tyron Smith. His contract would easily have been a 4th, possibly a 3rd. With incentives for sure a 3rd. But only projected a 5th. Because of that 10 year rule.

Give me Bolton and Sherwood at LB, or Milton Williams or Wharton at DT please. Any combo I’m good with.

I hope you're right! Don't want him in Washington at all.

But, they have to sign Ja'mar Chase at the same time basically. Tight rope to walk on.

I believe They tagged him last year, I would not be surprised if they did again, unless the work out a long term deal .

Baun is the best player on that list by a good margin, but I wouldn't mind Justin Reid. He's a tough dude.

I liked Moerig in that year's draft.

However, they will resign/overpay Osa, Golston, and Dowdle.

Perhaps they will sign a low-end LB and claim they went "all in".

I sure would to keep him but at $20M (or more) a year I'm letting him walk and taking the comp pick.
Sounds like a Jerry move. Hoping DLaw, Martin, Osa get us 5th round comp picks. Which is really an early 6th and a year later - making it an early 7th.
