Prescott plans to continue being a mobile QB

Dak is in denial if he thinks he is a mobile QB; moving around in the pocket avoiding rushers is much different than tucking the ball and running with intent. Dak is what…31 years old? He is on the downside of his physical prime and with a couple of surgeries he is nowhere close to where he needs to be physically if he intends to run the ball.
While dropping weight might make him faster, it isn’t going to protect him as well when he gets tackled.
I can’t believe Jerry wants Dak running taking unnecessary risks with all the money he is being paid and the back-up QB situation in disarray.
But…hey…you go Dak!
That's why he needs to draft a RG.

He seemed to stop being mobile several years ago. In fact, he'd be a lot better on the run imo. Whether it's his breaking body or coaching it hasn't happened nearly enough.

Let's be serious for a moment. Who is falling for our play action passes?

- Mobile in RPO at the goal line ..

- mobile per scrambling in pass situations.. to buy time to throw

- mobile in play action/roll out passes

- mobile in scrambling to escape upfield to " slide" to ground , or run out of bounds unharmed.

- I'm most interested in using Prescott mobility and play action in the same sense of Lions Jared Goff ... not Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Jackson, Mahomes. etc.
Good post Mr. Quick......lol
There's no reason he can't do all the things you mention and still be effective.

I seem to recall them saying Zeke was in the best shape of his life a few years ago and then still had a trash season. Father time is undefeated.

Above said it looks like he is trying to get in better shape. That's not a bad thing.

I just can no longer take seriously anything that comes out of Mr. “I got my bag for the brotherhood”’s mouth.

He’s a mobile quarterback?

You're talking about the game when Zeke sucked and Pollard got hurt. The offense was clearly different with Pollard out of the game.

That was also the game where Blamd was afraid to hit Kittle. Just curious, did Bland choke???
I think you meant Diggs, not Bland. But yeah, he choked on one play. How many turnovers did Dak commit that led to points? Yeah... Stop excusing the loser.

He also meant to mention how many penalties we have in those big games. We led the league in penalties for 3 or 4 seasons.

Dak may be a loser, but last I checked, quarterbacks aren't responsible for the team leading the league in penalties for multiple seasons.

Apparently we have other losers on the team that people mysteriously leave out when talking about team failure.

The conversation is about the QB though. Does that excuse the rest of the team? Of course not, but when a QB demands the money that he demanded, he better freaking perform when it matters much and not look like a deer caught in the headlights. That's his MO in huge games.

Again, that doesn't excuse the rest of the team choking, however, their choking doesn't mean he gets an excuse either. It's tiring hearing about how "elite" he is when he NEVER steps up when the team is struggling and pushes them to victory.
