Think of Tom shirt tie jacket slacks fedora . Then this yrs SB NFCE coach looks like he slept in that outfit .

I still miss watching Cowboys games and seeing Tom standing there on the sideline. A true Cowboy legend. Nothing but class.
Really? Two legends died the same day. One coached football. The other included it in his cartoons/comic strips. That's all.Where did Schultz coach ?
Imagine if Landry was required to wear what they have to wear today. I can’t even see it.Think of Tom shirt tie jacket slacks fedora . Then this yrs SB NFCE coach looks like he slept in that outfit .

The Athletic has the Cowboys at No. 18 in its 2025 power rankings.and 25 years later we have Dak telling the world we are on par with the Iggles, close to winning it all...and play competitive games against them...SMH

Wouldn't work.Imagine if Landry was required to wear what they have to wear today. I can’t even see it.
hard to disagree with your takeThati's true, but there is a powerful argument we haven't come close to replicating him or the Americas team feeling since then
based on what? No players? lol.The Athletic has the Cowboys at No. 18 in its 2025 power rankings.
Remember that one year when Jack Del Rio started wearing suits on the sidelines? And the NFL made him stop? I believe it was the NFL, but now, honestly, I can't remember. LOLWouldn't work.

Yes. I had forgotten about that.Remember that one year when Jack Del Rio started wearing suits on the sidelines? And the NFL made him stop? I believe it was the NFL, but now, honestly, I can't remember. LOL
The league has some real ***clowns.Remember that one year when Jack Del Rio started wearing suits on the sidelines? And the NFL made him stop? I believe it was the NFL, but now, honestly, I can't remember. LOL
The NFL signs those contracts to get as much money as possible and the companies want 100% compliance. The league has some real ***clowns.
There should be nothing offensive or non-standard with a cultural standard of respect like a suit. Now if it was a clown suit I could get that, but common sense should be able to prevail here.
A nice suit jacket with an offical NFL pin on the lapel like the Cowboys emblem should suffice. This is not that hard folks.
Landry looks like he has a lot of thoughts to share.Wouldn't work.

Not sure it would have if Dallas had been able to draft Montana like it wanted to do. Starting QBs like Hogeboom and Pelleur will make it look like the game has passed you by in a hurry.while true, had this board existed in 1989, people would have been ecstatic to see him go, we hadn't won a playoff game since 1982, had miased the playoffs 4 of 5 years, and the game had passed him by.
