Would you draft Jalen Milroe to sit behind Dak for 2 years? (2nd round )

Milroe's passing is painful to watch, but yes he can run. Dallas needs someone who can feed passes to CeeDee, Lamb is just too good to be on the sideline complain because his QB can't get him the ball.

Arm strength, anticipation and accuracy are required imho moving forward for the Cowboys when drafting a QB.

Dak's contract has an out after the 2027 season.........

Only if I was playing a wishbone type offense from the 30s.
Ever watched this guy try to throw a ball. He stairs down and aims at his receiver and still misses. It’ll actually make your eyes itch!

No. Just no. If we draft a QB to develop I want Dillon Gabriel. He has all the tools. Just needs pro coaching. He's very mobile too. He's a running threat.

I'm not seeing it here.......actually some good throws. I mean, sure he needs some work but .......

He's best on the deep passes. But woeful on the underneath routes that require more timing . He struggles processing the crossers, slants and his accuracy is very sketchy. If he can ever fix it, he's Jalen Hurts. If not, he's Anthony Richardson. I like his tools.

It’s a highlight reel! Watch an entire game… especially one where they lost or played an fairly evenly matched team!

Eeeek. Maybe in the 6th. Dude will never pass at an NFL level. Think a poor man's Jacoby Brissett.

I wouldn't touch Milroe or Ewers
I would take Milroe over Ewers. And I’m not that high on Milroe. Ewers to me is a good college QB surrounded by NFL talent which makes him look better. His arm has never impressed me when making throws across the hash. He can be accurate but when he’s not it can be ugly.

Quinn Ewers looks like an NFL backup. Taking him Day 2 might be ok but…maybe Day 3.

LOL ....every player's tape on U tube is a highlight reel of their best games, nothing new. I'm not saying the kid is the second coming of CJ Stroud but he certainly isn't as bad as some here would lead you to think. That reel clearly shows some potential but as OP ( draft guru ) pointed out, he needs patience and coaching. We have too many holes to draft him but I would def pull the trigger if he's there in the 5th.

Now that I think about it, he doesn't look that much different from Hurts when he lost his college-starting job to Tua. They called him an RB playing QB. How is that working out......lol

Here's Dana's take

As an athlete and person, he belongs in the first round. But can he develop the passing consistency needed to grow into an NFL starter? Milroe will be worth the chance at some point on Day Two, but where is that sweet spot

BTW......I know this doesn't mean a lot but he is smart as heck.........didn't know he was a Rhode scholar
