Way too early to say this about either guy. You need to see free agency, then the draft, then the salary cap cuts and then how much money you have left under the cap. I think Sean Lee comes back but this article is just clickbait.

That's what we expected. Not really any new news.

I would like to see a FA TE added before the draft and another on day 3.

I am very wary of Dallas going into the year expecting Jarwin to be the No. 1 TE. If that happens, I hope that we have a good contingency plan.

For cheap Lee stepped in a played well for a backup role hes good insurance
He had a good game against....the Giants? I think. But otherwise, he was not good.

They badly need another starting-quality LB.

he had 17 tackles in first game with eagles. but his body doesn't exactly respond as quick as his mind's recognition.

Yea maybe it was the Eagles game. He just looked slow all year. I don't doubt his intelligence, obviously.

It's odd, I'd like Sean Lee more if he was a starting, 2-down Mike, but that role doesn't really exist anymore as teams are primarily in 11. If you're not effective in the nickel, you can't be an effective LBer.

Witten would be a great fit for NE if Brady returns. They are masters of moving the chains with short yardage passing. Brady would love him!

Garrett ruined Witten by over using him last year!!! Garrett sucks!!! MM sucks for not giving Witt a chance!!! You all suck for hating on Witt!!! Ok.........I feel better! See ya, Witt, good luck in NY.

I love Witten, one of my all-time favorites, but I think this is more about pride than the money.

Lee is happy to do what is needed. If LVE is healthy, Lee is our third or fourth LB, and he doesn't seem to complain about it.

If Witten is signed, I seriously doubt he will be happy with anything besides being TE #1 - and he is no longer close to being a TE #1.

Witten is a Garret Company man. Couple that with the fact he is slow as molasses and he's done...he's gone

It's time to wake up. Even if Witten is gone I seriously doubt the Cowboys use their 1st round pick on a TE when many have said for years that the Cowboys need to address the defense.
.

I predict the first 3or 4 picks is defense...

I am ok with Sean Lee back because he has proven he is willing to take a back-up role and Be on the sidelines until called upon.

Witten while I love him. Hasn’t proven he is willing or able to be a back-up only type role. He is one of the best cowboys ever. But he CANT be playing a ton of snaps anymore. And I don’t know if he is the type of guy to just wait on the sidelines or never enter the game if that’s what the coaches gameplan for.

so this makes sense to me.
