I meant regarding Dak and our current situation.

If you don’t have something to support this situation then it’s just noise . Has no substantiation.
Still not sure what you are looking for here. The Cowboys have every reason to get this deal done ASAP so they can move on to signing other players so I don't think the hold up is on their end. Dak is not being amenable. Why? It has to be greed. Time is growing short.

Franchise Tag will allow them to sign other players. You really believe Jerry will let Dak walk instead of 27 million Tag?

I'm convinced Jerry is about to make a huge mistake by tagging Dak.
Once we do Tag Dak which appears inevitable on the eve of Free Agency deadline then it will be interesting to see what action we take in FA and draft to shore up our leverage and insurance at QB if we can’t get a deal done before 2021.

That will tell us more about our plans moving forward.

You'd think that would be the prudent course of action but I bet nothing is done to improve that situation. But I bet a year from now we are in the same situation.

Best case is that Dallas signs Tannehill or trades for Stafford or something and trades Dak for multiple picks. Outside of that, I don't see a good scenario.

A ha...and there it is!

Funny, cuz I've been thinking a lot about Tannehill (he's from Texas btw) this past week and even watched the two games he had against the Chiefs last year. I wonder if he would sign Dak's offer of 33M, 105M guaranteed to be in Dallas.

I'm thinking he would take that to be the face of America's team etc, but are other teams willing to pay him even more....it's possible.

Teddy didn't have an undefeated 5 game run as a starter in 2019?
You've seriously lost it. Bridgewater stinks. He's mostly a dink-n-dunker. Last season, his AY/A (Air Yards per Attempt) was his highest ever at 7.5 yards per attempt, which is average. Throughout his career, his AY/A has been in the mid 6s, but in 2018 it was at a terrible 4.0! Look at video of him. He's a dink-n-dunker. His mid-to-deep passes are lobs due to his weak arm. You seriously want Bridgewater? Man, you've lost it.

If that’s the case then Jerry’s stance and intentions will be clear.

Should Dallas let Dak Prescott walk

If the Dallas Cowboys are really intent on winning a Super Bowl within the next five to ten years, then they have some serious business decisions to make, and it begins at the top, with their start

WALK please define if you mean take 2 firsts and find a band aid to bridge us to our new franchise QB, then yes I am over Dak demands, I get its his right and its been discussed to death, horse is dead LOL

However hes the DC property , find an awesome trade , grab a Vet, draft Jhurts around the 3rd/4th and start the process, now you can sign AC or another Great WR, Jarwin , a Vet TE to add to Zeke/pollard and that oline with Gallup, id say we have a shot at being ok without Dak.. I mean

9-7, 10-6, and now 8-8 , im sure thats doable even with a Journeymen and great work from our new staff, they are supposed to be an upgrade from garett and Marinelli, correct? a better defense and ST and a plan at QB with 2 first round picks to kick it off, I say YES..

if this staff cant utilize Zeke/pollard and that oline with gallup and some additions and find a QB that can make it run that doesnt cost 35 for above average play, well they wont be here long..

What a terrible article. Really lazy “Journalism”

Here is the tldr version of the article
  1. We shouldn’t sign Dak
  2. If we had Rodgers, Brady or Wilson the last four years we would have one a super bowl
  3. No mention of what the Boys should do after letting Dak walk. Is the implication we should start Cooper Rush?

I do not care who we had because we had Garret as the HC we weren't winning any Super Bowl

I dont think anyone wants Bridgewater. But for the price he is an alternative versus being held hostage by an over 40 million contract.

And your description of his abilities is as slanted as some have been of Dak.

I'm getting mixed messages from you? How do you really feel about Teddy? He looked good in that patch of games he filled in for Brees.

Disagree. His intentions are as clear as mud sometimes. In this case, he has stated them but there is always a chance he changes his mind at the last second.

If that is the case then we will be scrambling for a solution.

If you’re of the opinion that you wouldn’t want Dak at any price then I suppose it doesn’t concern you.

I never said that was my opinion. I said quite the opposite. Dak is my preference but not at any price.

Go look up his stats, Greg. Also, watch tape on him. I'm not lying.

The Dallas Cowboys aren't about to let Dak walk now, or anytime in the near future. He represents one of their best chances of being playoff contenders. Prescott and his agent are both very well aware of that idea. They'll likely be holding fast to their demands until they're met. They know all too well that they hold all the cards they need to get a contract that ensures Dak's future for some time to come. The Cowboys' FO admits as much.

It's, quite obviously, merely a matter of time for that to fully materialize. They know it, the Cowboys' organization knows it and so does practically everyone else. Jerry and Stephen have made it crystal clear that they fully intend to sign him whenever both sides are able to come to an workable agreement. Thinking otherwise is, basically, being in denial of the truth. Eventually, it will come to pass -- we can count on it, one and all.
