Yep... We're signing away our Superbowl chances as it is with these contract offers.

Jerry is going to do exactly what I expected him to do..
What offers? This *one* offer?

assuming you’re correct, and signing Dak is a guarantee that we don’t go to the super bowl,

what QB move is out there that keeps our super bowl chances intact?

I’m assuming you have a plug and play solution at QB that gets us to the Super Bowl if we let Dak hit free agency and leave the team.

just curious what that plan entails.

please be specific

Not even talking about the latest rumors of 35. I'm actually talking about the 33 mil offer and guaranteed money. The 35, I have not seen the details on so I haven't really commented but according to reports, the 33 which was rumored to be, at or near, 100 mil fully guaranteed is better then either Wentz or Goff's deal.
IF it was offered. Once again last I saw that was a rumor.

I think the offers rumored of 33 at around 100 guaranteed is probably fairly accurate. It's been out there for a long time now, reported by multiple different sources close to the team, and I haven't seen anything that disputed it.

I do believe that that offer is probably fairly accurate. JMO
Based on what? Intuition?

How does anyone know market value until he is actually in the market?
Simple. See what his peers got and that's a start You need Byron Jones to hit the market to know what he will get or a ball park?

yet he had a top 5-10 season among his peers with Jason Garrett...lol
Facts. Imagine if he had a real coach. Would've probably had a top 3 season. He surely wouldn't' have lost that Vikings game.

Im not going to sit back and applaud a move that puts us at such a disadvantage.

I learned my lesson from Romo’s contract along with looking around the league.

The QB market is stupid and you’re better off not participating in it unless your QB is actually elite. Even elite QBs aren’t overcoming their contracts.
Its not the elite qb's fault. If you notice a lot of the elite qb's suck at drafting.

Also mind you the Patriots were winning Super Bowls.

Giants seemed to overcome Eli's contract to win a Super Bowl. Same for Pats.

jerry has made money from this while we were all talking on here lol. He thrives off of free advertisement and attention. He's been playing the media like a fiddle from day 1. He was NEVER not going to sign Dak. You watch. Hhe will take it up to the day of the deadline to tag him and magically reach an agreement. lol

No disrespect Rocyaice but Brady gave them a huge discount which helped them win some Super Bowls. Granted he had a wife who made more money than him. The Giants on the other hand did overcome Eli’s contract.

On September 10, 2010, Brady signed a four-year, $72 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid player in the NFL. The extension included $48.5 million in guaranteed money.[223]

Gottlieb sat in for Cowherd and he had Schlereth on yesterday. They mentioned the offer of 33 with 105 guaranteed, and predictably, Stink says Dak should turn it down! Most of these clowns say the same thing—it’s not up to the players to manage the cap, the players should hold out for the maximum deal, blah blah blah...

Why doesn’t ANY of these delusional wonks mention Brady? The GOAT doesn’t hold out for max deals. He’s smart enough to know he can be obscenely wealthy AND play for a winner that has cap space.

Today’s culture of greedy, big ego dumpster fires creates drama that drives rating$. Comfort food for the masses!

Hes a top 12 qb after last year hes better than goff and more available than wentz.

They got overpaid now Dallas has to overpay dak if they want to keep him.

34 should get it done with the guarantees.

Ego. If Wentz got 50 mill, Dak’s agent would push for 50 mill and 50 cents!

Then I stand corrected. Did not know that it made him the highest paid player. Thanks for letting me know.

How does Garrett win? Don’t leave me hanging here.
Garrett's incompetence will continue with the quarterback he chose, who never had to earn his spot, and who shares the same lack of leadership ability as him.
Dak needs to be gone.

If Dak gets his contract, Jason Garrett still wins. The Cowboys will continue to struggle and Dak's fans will blame McCarthy.
When he is finally released, the franchise will never recover.
That’s some twisted thinking there. There is no way I’m letting Jason Garrett take a spot in my brain. I’ve already forgotten him and his legacy here lol.
