I've always wondered if the Neanderthal humans figured out that the earth is round. They were highly intelligent human beings. They could have figured it out maybe, but we'll never know for sure. There's a whole bunch of stuff we'll never know about them, such as if they used complex language or had religious beliefs. It's from prehistory, so we can only figure things out via anthropology. Here's a good page about them.

That's a great point. They could have survived as Bigfoot. To see genuine Bigfoot videos, search for "butchykid" on Youtube. I'm not posting his vids here because he has a habit of profanity and obscene hand gestures that may not fly here. But if you want to see Bigfoot in action, go watch his videos. They're totally real.

i like Colorado Bigfoot....best Bigfoot channel on youtube.

I doubt Neanderthals gave a crap what shape the Earth was. If you told one that the Earth is round, he probably would have said, "Cool. Know where I can score some food?"

and some of these....

Bigfoot, yeti etc are more than likely Gigantopithecus, which are closely related to humans and coexisted with humans.

Some scientists believe small isolated pockets survived into historic times.
i concur with them.

I find it funny when people find the thought of bigfoot just sooooo unbelievable.

I don't consider it impossible, but I do find it rather unlikely that something like that could continue to evade capture or even indisputable evidence.
