The idea some people in here and even the guy who made this video have..that there is some leverage in negotiations w current free agents on this team by suggesting you will sign somebody else for cheaper is as stupid as it gets

"OK..bye..my client will sign for more money elsewhere " is the only response you will receive the players agent. Which ultimately means, you have no leverage

Who says the Cowboys want to re-sign Dez? Jerry's shower comment in no way implied the Cowboys want to resign him. The Cowboys make decisions by committee these days so I don't see Jerry's shower thoughts of Dez ever becoming a real thing the Cowboys act on.

BS. The Cowboys do not want Dez to return. Maybe Jerry might in his shower, but the football people that make the decisions don’t. And Jerry doesn’t make this kind of decision on his own anymore. He did in the past, but not anymore.
