With Quinn gone our defense just got instantly better, now we don’t have to worry about him rushing 10 yards up the field every play and trying to get to the QB & leaving massive holes for running backs and getting destroyed by screen passes. This is a wonderful day in Cowboys history!!

i think they double dip at both DE and DT in the draft...depending how the board looks.

It's kind of strange it's not talked about more but the Cowboys have a real problem at DL right now.

They have one upper echelon player. Lawrence. That's it. DE depth after him is now Armstrong, Gregory, Jelks and Jackson. That's it.

DT isn't much better as Collins is a FA. Woods is OK. Hill? Ehhh?

Of course there is also Crawford, who is serviceable but not great at either DE or DT.

It's going to be interesting to see where this front office goes along the DL. Certainly they could be looking at the draft but there are other needs that they may need to look at in the draft.

Not sure where you've been, quarantined maybe, but this has literally been one of the most talked about things since before last season even ended.

They are running around like they blew all their cap space on Cooper.

What's the point of restructuring some deals to give you anywhere form $80MM-85MM in cap space just so you can nickle and dime your way through FA when you have clear, clear needs.

You obviously aren't a member of the family.

I hope they do not go pass rusher at #17 in the draft, even with Quinn gone. This group is not worth it.
We’re gonna suck. No pass rush unless RG gets reinstated. I don’t even care given this COVID-19 BS.

It's been talked about all off season. Heck it was talked about before the offseason because of so many people knowing we were going to have so many FAs after the season.

Next I guess we will have a thread talking about how were not talking about the lack of CBs on the roster with Jones gone and Brown being a FA.

We also have no idea really what they are gonna do schematically. We don’t have a problem until the roster is set, I would like to see what we do before I say we are doomed.

But as of rn we do need DL help lol

You guys wouldn’t take Chaisson?

Chaisson isn't viewed as an elite edge guy. And he's raw. I wouldn't mind him at 17 but he's likely not going to be a guy that hits the ground running. And he's largely viewed as a late teen, 20s guy in the draft, so I am not sure I'd call him a guy that we'd have to take because he "fell" to us. He's likely going to be there.

Let me clarify a bit. Yes, we've talked about DT as a need but overall people have largely ignored DE as an issue. DE might be as big a need as DT at this point.
