Sorry but given that Dallas committed $100M to Amari Cooper and potentially $35M+/year to Dak, why didn't they simply look at signing Teddy Bridgewater and making a trade to Houston for Deandre Hopkins. Given Watkins had a 3 years at a total cap hot of $40M remaining Dallas could have gotten 2 quality players for the price of what Dak will cost while saving not only $10M+ this year but more in following years while also avoiding having to have players renegotiate their contracts to create cap room.

Personally I would rather have Bridgewater and Hopkins than Dak and Cooper PLUS extra money to bring in defensive help.

This isn’t Madden.

Because it is pretty obvious they like Dak and Cooper so they are not in the market for Bridges or Hopkins.

I said all this a month ago. Many posters objected to Teddy. I suspect those people are just Dak worshipers.

Imagine that, Keenum, Bridgewater, and Mariota didn't last two days in free agency. Cousins has a new deal. Brees signed two years for $50 million.
Brady perhaps going to Tampa.

That leave Winston, Newton (can seek a trade, but refused), and Rivers on the market.

With all due respect, what are you talking about? Asking you to clarify your position is not a "straw man" question. In fact, falsely saying he's engaging in straw man rhetoric is far more of a straw man position.

Keep your bias behind out of this. You can’t ask me to clarify a position I didn’t take but you’d know that if you wasn’t playing internet bias officer. As far as the strawman I stand by it even if not technically right because like I said I never mentioned no dang Bridegwater did I?

because it’s a small window and fluid situation. I don’t think anyone here wouldn’t prefer those two and the extra savings. Or Teddy and Byron for what Dak alone costs. Easy to point out after the child fall tho
