He's also the show the roster and I'll come up with the system guy. With a stud like Zeke in the stable, he's going to be running.
Coaches are who they are. He still runs the ball, but he's a pass sets up the run guy. Total opposite of red.

That's the way KM prefers it too. I'm curious to see how Big Mike and Moore get along. The WCO is Dallas will be something different.

He’s better than Cobb
Not sure I'd agree with that.

He's 3 years older and the last time he had a season appreciably better than Randall Cobb's 2019 season was all the way back in 2016.

If we sign him, I'd bet all the money in my bank account he's a downgrade.

Not that being a downgrade from Cobb's 2019 season is a deal-breaker. Just saying expecting him to be better than Cobb was for us is a tall order.

We could use his speed to advantage, but so would the 49'ers.

Jerry and Stephen really need to roll out the red carpet for him.

Devin smith or the wr heavy draft please! if you feel the need to spend more money on FA how about the side of the ball that cost us the season

the defense is where our focus should lie. Is snacks still available or anymore secondary help as I’m just lukewarm on Ha ha

maybe a LB for depth.

Either that or they didnt make an offer at all, because the deal he eventually took was lower than what he is worth.

So they either offered him even less than that, or weren't in...and are now chasing more offense.

Ridiculous.
There are other options.

One is that he did not take less than he was worth, and that he got what NFL teams see his value as. After all, the entire NFL could have made him an offer, and he took the deal he did.

Another is, assuming for a minute he did take less than he was worth, perhaps he just preferred Denver over other NFL teams. Otherwise, why would he take less than he was worth?

Another is we offered something competitive with Denver, but Denver’s offer was slightly more.

Something some fans seem to lose sight of is that the Cowboys don't somehow have first dibs, or a right of first refusal, on every free agent. If a free agent doesn’t sign with Dallas it doesn’t necessarily mean Dallas either showed no interest or made a lowball offer. There are 31 other teams the Cowboys are competing with.

Yeah, maybe he's watching Dak on nfl gamepass to make sure it's a good move.

At this point with both those QBs youd have to start looking at coaching if you are sanders.

Does he believe Kyle can do better than last year or does he believe McCarthy can lift the cowboys past mediocrity.

It was reported there was "interest."

Add it all up, and it's fair to say that Dallas decided that 2/17 was too much, or whoever reported that lied.

No, I dont KNOW what did or did not happen, but neither do you.

Bottom line is we didnt get the guy. I can be more careful how I word things for you.

well how you know that is beyond me he has played enough to be considered that and if you trust former coaching staff when anything good for you I don't. If he is garbage then fine get rid of him and draft one.I consider Noah brown much closer to garbage than I do Smith.

No, neither do I, which is what I indicated. I'm not the one trying to say what happened, I'm the one saying there are multiple possibilities, including ones beyond the one's decided on.

Curious what type of deals he's seeing.

Thought with Mike here they budgeted a set number for Cobb. But BoB BoBd and traded Hopkins and overpaid Cobb

Their numbers were pretty similar last year with Sanders having a couple more TDs. The thing is 7 of Sanders games were in Denver with Flacco who sucks. His numbers jumped up quite a bit going to Garappolo

Maybe we can agree on if they offered him 2/20, and guaranteed 10 instead of 7, we would each feel a lot better about the secondary situation today.

What kind of WR was with him in the down years? Who was tossing the pig skin? Wasn't that the time where the only success Denver had on offense was through their running game?

Sure, I assume Harris would have taken that deal.

Of course theres the idea that he absolutely wanted to go to a team with no QB and insisted on it.

He took the best offer he was going to get. Anyone who topped it would have gotten him. I'm surprised no one did. Really, we are talking beer revenue for one home game being the difference.

Maybe I'm just POed because I think they are going corner at 17, which I very much dont want to do.
