Best wishes and good health to Travis. Great career unfortunately cut short.

Does he realize...
I'm sure he's spent countless hours talking to people and learning about his disease, and there's not much about it he doesn't realize.

From the day I read his remarks about not being able to carry his kids up the stairs to put them in bed anymore, I suspected his priorities might never be the same even if he could come back. I imagine it's not just about recovering enough to play again and recovering enough to play as well as he wants. He's already made enough money to live on. And now he and his family have had a glimpse into how different life can look with a disability or a diagnosis. Why not retire to spend more time with his family and leave the game before the wear and tear from the sport leaves him any worse off physically? Even if he can recover to 100% in terms of the disease, maybe now he's got his mind on making sure he'll stay healthy enough to carry his grandkids up some stairs someday.

Look for LVE to be next in a year or two; bank on it.
Actually I am surprised this wasn't Tyron, he is always playing with back issues. I think Tyron retires next year and we won't be able to replace him immediately like we might be able to do here.

If I'm reading this right, because of all the restructures; this gives us about $1 million in cap space. But the Cowboys COULD require that he repay the team about $11 million in bonus money and that whole amount would be cap savings as well. So there is "potential" for about $12 million in cap savings here.

we won’t do that. Saves one million this year but a lot more next year

Wow. Fredrick is smart and the year off probably showed him the way. Good fortune, Travis.

Connor McGovern come on down.

Looney starts. McGovern and Williams compete at LG. The loser is your primary interior backup. Maybe this news is why Redmond was their first move in free agency.
Looney starts? He needs to be competing like the rest of them lol
