Remember last season when Dak was LIGHTING it up and everyone was eating crow. Nearly everyone who trashed him the year prior was saying how wrong they were on him. And then as the season progressed and we started losing everyone went right back to bashing Dak. Despite the fact that THE ENTIRE NFL INCLUDING NFL FANS knew we had an extremely inept coaching staff.
Now we get to see him work with a real coaching staff in his fifth year, and he will have developed even more than he has already. Ungrateful fans, with no patience will never understand this, but it will be fun watching you guys eat more crow.
BTW, you could've had Dak for $30M if you would've acted sooner and then we could've used the franchise tag on Byron Jones. We'd be in much better position to draft BPA.
But here we are. We move slower than the rest of the league.

And, by the way, I would never bring up team records IF that isn't what was consistently used to prop up Dak - I always go by evaluating the player performance. And Dak has been lackluster against good teams.

And I wouldn't have paid Jimmy G that money either. Why? Because he didn't elevate his team consistently.

The most important piece to the puzzle is a brain / wizard calling the shots. Jimmy G has one of the best in the business. Dak had one of the worst.

Go back, I have already talked about his previous years. Before the 2018 season, Dak said he didn't need a #1 WR - so because of his lame confidence, he sucked at the beginning of the 2018 season and we had to trade away our #1 so he could play like an actual starting QB. In 2017? Yeah, another year he sucked. His rookie year is ancient history at this point.

And don't tell me how to be a fan. There is no rule that I have to like every player we have, I want this team to improve and giving a mediocre starting QB MVP-like money is not helping it. So come back with a better argument before I embarrass you again.

I'm genuinely intrigued as to why some on here would seemingly wash Dak Prescott's feet every day free of charge.

Is it because he's very durable and he doesn't miss games? Towards the end of his career Romo going down injured and effectively ruining the season put a condition in your head to hate flair, quality and swagger, preferring to go with the durable, regular, solid Joe, Mr percentage play, safe pair of hands? Akin to hot women eventually getting fed up of good looking guys that have the charm and swagger and as a result continually cheat on them. So they eventually settle down with the plain, regular solid guy, average in every way and who most importantly, would never cheat on the hot girl. I.e. he would would never disappoint or let down the hot girl in her eyes. So Prescott could never let you down in your eyes regardless because he's Mr solid and dependable.

Serious question as I would love to know why so many people on here love Dak Prescott and let's have it right, his background/story is completely irrelevant to playing as a starting QB in the NFL.

So come on, what is it?
