He was really good with the Raiders. Always near the top in NET avg and punts inside the 20. Surprised he hasn't found work.

Remember reading he was a diva though.

He's picked up several unsportsmanlike conduct penalties after good punt.

That's just insane

He got roughed on a play that would have given the Raiders the ball back. He celebrated by dancing and throwing the penalty flag ... earning an offsetting penalty. Celebrated after a punt that pinned to opponent deep ... and moved them 15 yards forward.

This is not the player we need

It's hard enough avoiding penalties on special teams (with the constant holding and whatever other shenanigans guys are up to jockeying for position), it's a real issue if the kicker or punter is gonna get in on the act by getting flagged too.

He’s a headcase, right?
From what I remember during a segment about him in the XFL he had fallen out of love with football and needed to take some time away from the game.

It was then that he rediscovered his love of playing again and joined the XFL.

100% on board with this one. I like Jones, he’s a good dude. But I’m that special teams is undergoing a complete overhaul (except LP of course)

Long Snappers in this league have to be either some of the smartest people on the planet or the most fortunate.
I mean they were either really smart and figured out that they could make an incredible income by just practicing snapping a football accurately.
Or
They were incredibly fortunate and their parents started training them to do it since the age of 5. lol
Lucky bastid Long Snappers of the league!

That's what I remember about him, the attitude. And that's likely why he's unemployed.
