He’s one of the tope yellers in the league, I’m torn who I would want more Bennett or Richard.

Even at 34 years old he acquired 6 1/2 sacks in 15 games for 2 different teams. He did say he wanted to end his career in Seattle, but who's to say he won't be open to playing another year in Dallas first? I hope they at least make him an offer. He's way better than Crawford.

Meant to say “top”. Remember how many people got excited and wanted to name Richard the head coach in waiting after he was seen yelling on the sidelines or when there were reports of Bennett screaming in the locker room after a game last year?

That’s what I was referring to somewhat sarcastically.

Are there other incidents?
Not of Bennett that I know of but Richard seemed like he was yelling quite a bit, enough for people to take notice and start a thread or two about it.

This guy gets it..

To me Bennett can play both inside and out on the defensive line and I can pretty much say with certain, Bennett can "hold his own" in most matchups throughout this league and rarely do I see Bennett's opponent dominate him as a end result. Those offside penalties were annoying but he could have easily mailed it in once Dallas's season went up in flames but Bennett was out there playing his *** off trying to make plays, well atleast it appeared that way to me..

But if you pair a motivated Bennett with McCoy, Poe and Lawrence plus Gregory. We'll have some nice options to establish pressure inthe backfield.

1 or 2 yr with incentives and let see how it goes .
Rayman always gets it...

Odd with Richard, thought initially, actually fooled initially, that this team struck on a gold nugget, only to discover that it was merely fools gold.

Yeah, I was never on board with him being the next great DC or HC. It was nothing specific but I don’t put much weight into any player or coach until after at least 3-4 years of consistency to prove themselves. A lot of people fell in love with Richard after the first season, even his first few games.

He can play inside or outside...I'd sign him for another year allow the new staff to play hell for opponents in a continual application of skill sets and some old fashioned stubborn.

Defensive end Michael Bennett said earlier this month that he wasn’t sure if he wanted to play another NFL season, but it appears he’s come to a decision.

Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News reports that Bennett would like to play. If he does, it will mark 12 years in the league for a player who entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2009.

I saw him in the Dallas area a few weeks ago. I thought he would be long gone after the season.
