This blows his out of the water, was there a S available in round 3?

No not really. Kenny Robinson from the XFL was the next safety to go. Maybe a couple of CB conversations to S (I like Reggie Robinson from Tulsa). Amik Robertson would be way too good of a prospect to pass on anyway imo...

Who I would have taken using his full mock

1. Darius Kinlaw DT S CAR
2. Jalen Reagor WR TCU
3. Amik Robertson CB La Tech
4. Troy Pride Jr CB ND
5. Netane Muti G Fresno St
5. Dalton Keene TE Va Tech
7. Cale Garett LB Mizzu
Is his full mock posted somewhere I'd like to try that?

Not as a nickel...and certainly not a guy that plays with his attitude. I’ll be surprised if Robertson makes it out of the 2nd honestly, every expert/insider I hear talking about his tape is nothing but overwhelmingly positive.

He has Philly taking Kenneth Murray and Reager in the second.

I think hitting on the second and third round picks is going to tell us a lot about our future over the next few years. Find good players at those spots will really help us add young talent we are really lacking. Especially in the second round. No excuse not to find a guy who eventually is a good starter.

I don’t know much about Diggs and would prefer Kinlaw. Although the players I want to target are mostly gone at 17 with the exception of Kinlaw. I don’t think I would go safety at 17 and Diggs would appear to be a little bit of a position of need reach.

He’s a good player, but he would basically be our third nickel. In an ideal world, you get a bigger-bodied corner to complement Lewis & Brown.

I wouldn't lose any sleep if they pass on Kinlaw and those knees. Besides, Interior D-Line not as big a need as Edge and secondary at the moment.

Interior DL is a need.

They have two older guys that won't be here long (Poe is one year, McCoy possibly two). Hill has shown little. Crawford, if you view him as a DT, is likely in his last year as well. And then there is Woods. That's it.

I can't link it so consider my reputation the link.

Don't have trust issues.

Here's the Cowboys class. You know where to find the rest.

1(17) Trevon Diggs CB Alabama
2(51) Terrell Lewis EDGE Alabama
3(82) Logan Wilson LB Wyoming
4(123) Devin Asiasi TE UCLA
5(164) Jack Driscoll T Auburn
5(179) Jordan Fuller S Ohio St.
7(231) Cordel Iwuagwu G TCU
Uh oh..... Bugler knows us pretty well too.

Like it or not, Anthony Brown is most likely our week 1 starting outside CB across from Chido. Unless Henderson falls to 17 or some sort of trade, it’s going to be hard to draft a day 1 starter at 51.

Which is why Logan Ryan should be signed, because going into the draft hunting for a starting CB is dumb and will likely result in a reach.

I still want an edge player. I like Reagor but man, I'd still consider Lewis there. But then you'd need a WR somewhere else.

1. Kinlaw (DT)
2. Gladney (CB)
3. Van Jefferson (WR)
4. Bowden Jnr (WR)
5. Driscoll (OT)
5. Williams (G/C)
7. Pinkney (TE)

Good stuff. I’ve heard lots and lots of rumblings that the team loves Diggs, Wilson and Asiasi

Interior DL is definitely a need. I see Edge or D-End, however we're describing it these days, as a greater need.

Outside of Tank we have Armstrong, Joe Jackson, and two guys we cant count on with Aldon Smith and Randy Gregory.

Poe and McCoy are stop gap guys, but they can get the job done. Look at how many snaps we gave a journeyman like Woods last year. We can find guys for that spot, we have nothing to replace Quinn at the moment.

Dane has said it himself that he isn't as plugged in to what Dallas is doing..he's in Browns country now and has a better feel for them..he obviously still has some contacts and Diggs is the hot name..but he isn't around Cowboys football anymore

Dane still has his contacts here. I'd say we pay close attention on who he mocks to us in his final mock. Out of all the national draft "experts" I'd trust his sources over most of them. Just like Broaddus still has sources inside the building.
