I think at the height of his physical abilities you make a great point, last year it seemed apparent to me that he didn’t quite have the same giddy-up as younger Tay. He still can run faster and is quicker than the average guy, but his elite elusiveness and foot speed is no longer one of the top in the league. You can find 20-25 of him around the NFL at this point. Love the dude though super competitive and funny.

Please look at his career stats. Guy has been in the league 7 years. With the Rams only
once did he average more than 10 yards a catch. He is 30. His track record in the NFL is what it is. He is average at best and getting older.

He’s a gadget space player and not a very good WR.

Primarily because he can’t stay on the field without getting injured. If he was more durable he would be a serious weapon though....

He's just a gadget player. Doesn't run good enough routes to be an outside/slot WR. Despite his speed, he's not really a standout punt/kick returner either. Maybe if he had gotten drafted to the right situation, he could have had a different career but at this point...he's just depth.
