I'm really feeling the pressure.

I might have to back off the rest of the week. I don't want this milestone upstaging the draft.
Nah, don't back off. If the draft results can't compete on even footing with your milestone event, then it just isn't a noteworthy draft.

I want to see insightful comments on every draft pick -- how's that for a challenge?

Risen I feel you and I are in the minority on this center thing. I have zero problem taking Ruiz in the first. Then McGovern can hopefully take over LG and Williams swing tackle
Nope I’m there as well. Stats are to telling on the impact both the passing and run game had w/o the Beard. Need a legitimate replacement.

Mock

No trades. The player must have been ranked or mocked in that general area or later by one of the major resources to be available here.

1(17) Xavier McKinney S Alabama
I hate the Cowboys' position in this draft. I would love to trade down a tad but that's not allowed here. McKinney is the best value of the players I expect to be available. A difference maker on defense.

2(51) Lloyd Cushenberry III C LSU
A plug and play replacement for that quitter, freak boy Frederick. The Duke of Carville can anchor and move. He has feeling in his feet too. I don't want what was a team strength to quickly deteriorate into a weakness. McGovern can compete at G.

3(82) Noah Igbinoghene CB Auburn
Would be a real coup for the Cowboys if they can land this player here. I think he's a boundary starter within 2 years.

4(123) Lynn Bowden WR Kentucky
A swiss army knife weapon for Fat Mike to have fun with. Could play Tavon Austin this year and fill the Randall Cobb role down the road.

5(164) James Morgan QB FIU
The only real developmental QB in this class. If he's here I have to take the flyer. Sooner or later this team has to find someone with actual talent at the position. Morgan has tools.

5(179) Benito Jones DT Mississippi
I'm kind of in the dark about what we're looking for in defensive linemen these days but if you want a later round guy who can get upfield and shoot gaps Jones is a candidate.

7(231) Chauncey Rivers DE Mississippi St.
Reclamation project who smoked his way out of Georgia as a four star recruit. Kept his nose clean and started to flash with the Bulldogs.

I know that class won't be popular but we shall see.

I don't want any part of Chaisson at 17. I'm not really interested in him at all in the 1st round. You're drafting an athlete if you take him. No matter how athletic he is the guy's never done what we'd be drafting him to do. I'm not declaring him a bust just that the draft is already enough of a crapshoot. I'd at least would like my 1st round pick to have proven himself on the field at some point and not just be potential. I put him at the end of the round simply based off of his elite traits.

I pray to Wentz that the Eagles don't end up with Justin Jefferson. I can't even imagine the Bismarck Bomber dropping halos to him down field completely gashing us while our fraud has to get up to pick up his gatorade cup because he missed the can. Chaisson to Dallas, Jefferson to Philadelphia will have me ready for a dust up.

If I was the Commanders (Hail!) I would take a QB. Pass rushers don't matter when you don't have one. I wouldn't be relying on Haskins to be the guy. I have Tua 8th on the board because of his injury risk. It's a risk worth taking.

I thought about taking James Proche at 123. I know he's a popular pick right now but I worry about his ability to separate in the NFL and ultimately just don't feel good about drafting a guy who died in a plane crash in Louisiana in 1973. Even if I love his music. You don't mess around with Jim.

I had Jefferson the 3rd WR over Ruggs for a while and now I see Mel's top 300 released today also has that order. I feel vindicated.

I wish there was a McClay cam.

Even though I didn't take one I believe LB is a real need for this team. No one should be surprised if they address that in the first 4 picks.

I really hope we will still get the draft secret audio calls with the prospect this year. I love to hear the disappointment in their voices when they realize they just became a teammate of Prescott.

So what will the Cowboys do? Hell if I know. I think the first round pick will be spent on defense. Other than that I got nothing. If you're fixated on need, this team has plenty up and down the roster.

I'm expecting this virtual draft to be a real clusterbleep and probably the least enjoyable draft coverage of my lifetime, Get ready to watch a telethon for charities with a few draft picks thrown in here and there for good measure.

Best Case Scenario would be the Cowboys trading back into the 27-30 Range to pick up Chaisson and have an Extra 2nd to spend on a DB / WR.

Would be nice if one of the better QBs or OL drops in our range so we can get value on Tradedown.

I like the Bowden Pick and wouldnt mind having McKinney but we all know the Cowboys dont value Safety so dont look for them to get one before the 4th Round ..

Great draft, I was hoping you'd do one this year.

McKinney is the safe pick on this board. Plug him in year one and he won't come off the field for 10+ years.
Cushenberry is better than Ruiz in some ways. Taking on the Bull rush for one.
Noah would be a great value at this spot
I think Moore would have some fun with Bowden and Pollard and they would make the offense dynamic. They should just list him as an offensive player.
Morgan has great leadership traits and that's seems to be the IT factor with QBs.
Jones is great value here.

I like the draft, for the most part. 17 is a crap shoot, but McKinney would be a safe solid pick. I'm a huge fan of the cush. Bowden would be a steal.

I only need like another 98k, and I'm planning on having a helluva night, so it may be all very moot.

I like the draft. About my only swap would be an OT rather than a C. I just can't believe we can't get something out of Looney, Williams, or McGovern at the position. I think I'd rather have a young swing tackle working toward Tyron's eventual replacement. Love rounds 3, 4, and 5.

Good job. Personally I would have put Gallimore in the top 50.
