I mean it sucks that you can't address DE or CB with the pick but an elite talent fell in our lap and we did the smart thing. Lamb will be the best receiver here.

I'm an advocate of tier drafting, believing that there is usually several players in a tier, so you can generally get one who fits a need with not much of a talent difference between that player and maybe the top one in the tier. Lamb was in a different tier than anyone else available ... so you either have to get great value in a trade or take one of the elite players in this draft.

I prefer the move that we made because you don't get that many shots at elite talent unless you are perennially bad.

He is not Randy Moss. Come on. They DO NOT play defense in the Big 12. I know the guy is good. I really do. Dallas didn’t need another WR. Not at all.

Not quite Moss but it may have been that type of EFFECT. I truly believe that. Greg Ellis was the "need" when the Gods dropped a gem in your lap.

Jerry pretty much said that it took CeeDee Lamb being there to get away from that pass rusher they wanted which has to mean Chaisson.

I wouldn't have a problem with the Lamb pick, but I said before the draft, why sign Cooper when a good WR prospect would be there? You could have avoided this and kept Jones.
I get that. But honestly Jones is not worth his salary regardless of Cooper.

Also we couldnt have known a WR of Lambs caliber would be available at that pick.
