Alright we got the big splash play but now we need to shore up the secondary ASAP. That means getting a CB & S combo with in the next 3 picks even if you have to move up.

Don't worry, they will. Gonna be a very successful draft. There are many good options for the next 2 or 3 picks. Round 5 onwards is always a crap shoot anyway.

As I said in another thread, is there gonna be a rookie corner good enough (when we pick) that the coaches will give minutes to instead of veterans Awuzie, Lewis, Brown? And we also signed Maurice Canady & C.J. Goodwin. That's 5 corners right there. What rookie corner (whoever's left when we pick) that the coaches are gonna give minutes too instead of the veterans. I say take best player available in rounds 2-3 on defense between DE, DT, S, CB. Or if an upgrade at TE is there.

No. Continue to take BPA. There are still some good players out there in FA to plug holes. We don't need to force picks.

Our biggest need is defense but Lamb dropped to us and we could not pass it up. That pick was so sinfully delightful. Now we have to buckle down by drafting a quality corner and safety on day two... that is the mission today. Do that and I'm going to be so giggly happy. If we still get the defense guys we need after that first pick, in retrospect, I will be saying, "my Cowboys got away with that!"... you know what.

Make it happen Cowboys! :yourock:

Not saying we should reach but I hope a talented CB is there in the next 2 rounds.

Any of you scheme guys know the defense that has three safeties. I would love to get Delpit and his range. McKinney is an all purpose safety, I would pick him as well. I don’t think the pass rushers or corners will fall that are more talented then the safeties.
