I really like the pick.

High upside pick at a premium position.

This guy has a lot of talent. Great athlete. Good player / position to gamble on.
The 4th and on is exactly where you take projects.

STRENGTHS

—Primarily played corner at Tulsa but projects well as a slot corner/safety hybrid.

—Versatility for days; can match up on the outside with bigger receivers, in the slot with tight ends or with running backs out of the backfield.

—Recovered from an injury his junior year to have his most productive season in 2019 with three interceptions.

—Can play press at the line of scrimmage against receivers or tight ends.

—Height, weight, speed winner (6'1", 205 lbs, 4.44-second 40-yard dash)

WEAKNESSES

—Struggled to mirror in man coverage; will most likely be a slot corner in the NFL.

The Draft Network summarizes Robinson like this:

There are positive reps in man, press and zone making him a versatile prospect that plays a physical brand of football and can make plays on the football. His development will now continue at the next level where his ceiling is exciting as he continues to develop his technique given his impressive physical traits and alpha mentality. Robinson profiles as a starting outside corner by Year Two/Three

Yeah, he’ll be a special teams mainstay while he learns to play corner in the NFL.

A really smart pick, actually.
