dak is 1-6 against winning teams , not weakling NFC east bottom feeders. (Dak failed to score ONE touchdown against the Saints, Patriots, and in the finale against a weak Eagles defense. There is a lot that Dak needs to prove , plus the team went 8-8 , so let's not pretend dak just came off a great season , not even close. Jason is fired and now dak has to show he thinks he is worth .
So what you’re saying is you know more about what an NFL QB is suppose to be than Troy Aikman, Mike Martz and many many more who actually played or coached the game. Such great entertainment here at CZ. :muttley:

And you are totally kidding yourself if you think one of those guys would risk his career by saying something negative about a NFL player.
They do all the time where have you been. Troy use to criticize Dak consistently on his accuracy and only last year acknowledged that he has fixed that part of his game. What does Mike Martz have to lose? You are kidding yourself if you think you know more than those that have played or coached the NFL game. But it is hilarious watching you try.

Went would break records on his way to multiple Super Bowls if he played in Dallas.

Troy , jimmy johnson , and Bradshaw has a very highly publicized criticism of Dak before a cowboys game last season . Someone posted it on one of the CZ threads . They clearly stated there are accuracy issues that Dak has . If you follow the cowboys games , Troy has numerous comments about Dak’s inaccuracies. At the end Troy has to be a bit polite and say nice things due to his job and his need to have access to Dak and the cowboys . If you replay the games you will here many Troy comments about Dak’s inaccurate throws or decisions . Bottom line , Dak can silence everyone by not losing most of his games to winning teams, or leading the cowboys the Super Bowl .

Very true . Media personalities who don’t have access to players are doomed . It is a business.

Both Troy and Jimmy both have said Dak had accuracy issues and both of them this said he has corrected that issue and think he is a franchise QB. But like I said, don’t let me stop you from making a fool of yourself. It’s highly entertaining.

Not when he’s sitting on the bench injured :muttley: But if you really believe that then go root for them. Oh wait.....

If you’re going to post the random Dak troll post of the day, please at least do us the courtesy of providing your strategy on what we do after we reduce the QB roster to Cooper Rush and Ben DiNucci
The same thing the Cowboys need to do now- find a quarterback.
They should have gone after Case Keenum. But there are others out there. Going into 2020 with only Dak as a capable starter is a recipe for failure.

Dak has no more excuses if he plays next season . The offense is top notch around him . No more empty stats . Can he deliver against quality teams ?

Now see, this is a far more logical discussion to be having than this letting him walk crap.

Outside of maybe the Chiefs, Dak has the most surrounding talent of any other QB in the league.

Two 1,000 yard WRs, another WR that is a consensus top 10 pick, two all-pros on the offensive line, and one of the top RBs in the league.

No excuse to be kicking FGs all game, none.

Dak hasn't shown the maturity to lead the Cowboys on the field or off.
He needs to see what life is like behind the offensive line of one of the other 31 teams and what it's like to actually have to produce in order to keep his job.
This haggling over his contract because he thinks he should be paid like he's the best is making me sick to my stomach to watch.
He doesn't produce when the team needs him to lead, and apparently feels as if he is special even though he choked through the entire 2019 season.
It's time to end this privileged mentality instilled by Garrett once and for all.
Id offer next years first to Green Bay for Rodgers. If they take it, I'll rescind it.

No offense, but trading 1st round picks for players that are in their late 30s is not a smart way to build a roster.

That first round pick could end up being a player like Lamb.

Would you trade Lamb for a 37 yr old QB?

Virtually no GM in the NFL would.

I think the way the Cowboys handled this whole thing from the start is the reason Dak feels he is untouchable.

I can understand not starting Romo in 2016, although it was a dumb move, but why on earth would you guarantee him a starting job in 2017? What's wrong with competition?

This is another one of Jerry's "smarter than the rest of the league" move just like hoping againsr all odds that Garrett was the second coming of Tom Landry.

We all know how that turned out.

What is Dak supposed to think? This team has done nothing but "coddle" him from the start.

To this day we don't know what we have in cooper Rush because the team wants Dak to play in worthless week 17 games in order to pat his stats and grow his confidence..

What was really achieved in doing that? God Forbid Cooper Rush looks halfway decent out there with our weapons right jerry?

This team is dumb beyond belief might as well give Dak a blank check at this point, they've done nothing but coddle him and it got to his head..

For the record, i have no doubts they wanted Hurts but philly jumped the gun before we coukd get him so naybe there is still hope.

Been over this already Troll. Dak is 43% winning percentage against winning teams which is up there with the best in the game.

The Cowboys also beat the Rams and Eagles and both had winning records so even your cherry picking number is off. LOL

Still reeling from the Lamb pick eh? Talk about your worst nightmare!!!! :lmao2::lmao2::lmao:

Was Aikman and his career 61.5 comp% that good? Look at his TD/INT ratio. But he gets a pass.

Different times my man. If Aikman played today, and I love the guy, he would be mediocre.

It was one of those things were everything lined up for him to be successful. Sure, he did his part, but almost aby other decent QB in that time with that team would have won the same number of Superbowls. Same as teddy bradshaw.

As it is, Dak plays in the salary cap era and is asking for top dollar.

No way we win anything if that happens.

You got all time greats like Rodgers who can't overcome the weaknesses of their team and you think a run of the mill QB will?

Good luck with that.
