It’s possible with expanded rosters this season but not likely due to Dak’s durability.
Besides that, the expanded roster is only to 55 on game day with the two extra players coming from the Practice Squad only for game day. And one of them has to be a from the OLIne!

It wouldn't be for that reason. I think DiNucci will prove to be too good to stash on the Practice Squad. Especially since the Patriots seemed to want him. He'd be too dangerous to let Belichick raid.

I wouldn’t be going that far the guy was a seventh round pick. Not saying he doesn’t have a shot to stick around for a while but his chances are slim. The odds aren’t with any player drafted in the seventh round especially a QB.

Cool. We are going to need to get cute with Biadasz. He wont be ready to play early on, not really even as a backup, and no way can they try to PS him.

As much of the Garrett stench that can be gone the better, although they 100% need a veteran ahead of Ben here. I think the team knows that.

Agreed in all those cases. What I could see is us bringing in a vet like Josh McCown as a veteran QB and having Dak as the obvious starter and DiNucci as the 3rd QB. Sorta like how we had Vinny Testaverde helping Romo.

On the other hand, Brady was a 6th round pick. Ya just never know.

You never know but how many Brady’s have come along? There were fans with big dreams for Mike White a couple of years ago who we drafted in the fifth round. I’m not saying DiNucci has zero chance but the odds don’t favor him or he would have been drafted higher.

I'd normally agree. However, the Patriots did well with a comp 6th round pick in 2000 that they used on a QB. Not saying DiNucci is Tom Brady. However, when I watch videos on him, I DON'T want Belichick to get his hands on DiNucci. I think McCarthy will do well with him.

Well, same could've been said about Romo. Small school guy. Not really well thought of. Only Mike Shanahan of the Broncos and Sean Payton when he coached here as OC seemed to have any interest in Romo. Both having gone to his school. DiNucci went to a small school. Unfortunately, COVID hit, and shot a lot of the usual procedures to sift our hidden gems. I wonder, if not for COVID, maybe DiNucci would've gone higher. He's a small school QB too who was not highly thought of. But his play looks eerily similar to that of our own Tony Romo in some ways. We of all teams should know not to sleep on a small school QB.

You can almost bet the farm that if we have a training camp and preseason this year and DiNucci has a solid preseason the Dak haters are going to be talking him up to replace Dak. It’s not hard to predict where this is going to go. The day we drafted Mike White a Dak hater posted that White was already the best QB we have on the team. lol Most of this fan base isn’t looking for a backup QB they want to replace Dak.

Not going to waste anymore time on this he could have been a free agent and we would be having this same discussion. DiNucci brings hope to the Dak haters.
