Is Trysten Hill still salvageable?

Absolutely. I expect him and Neville to be really good rotational players behind McCoy and Poe. Having two vets pushing them/leading them will help make them the players we need them to be.

Speculation: too bad Woods looks to be out. He deleted his Twitter account and I haven't heard anything about him :(

Think he could be. He's gonna have to start out as a 3T on passing downs and maybe play some 3-4 DE

This will be up to him. But going by what the Cowboys have done in both FA and the draft, I'm guessing they don't think he's ready yet. I'm just hoping he can be a solid rotational guy. That alone would be a big improvement. Our Dline would be a lot better if he becomes who they thought he was.

Yes of course.

You gotta give him the 3 year rule at least.

He was a 2nd round pick that we reached for as well and should’ve been a 3rd.

Yes. One of the worst picked during McClay era where we reached for a need when there were starting Safeties we need still on board. And they were rated higher proven by their production during their first year in the league.

Yeah, argument was that DT was a major need....blah, blah...what's the point of drafting a player whom you knew need a year of seasoning when you have OTHER needs. We could have signs a Vet and limped through a year instead of wasting that 2nd rounder waiting for Hill to "pan out".

Maybe?

he is going to need to buckle his chin strap and get to work though.

no more crybaby immaturity.

no more candlelit dinners with Marinelli either.

Where do you get crybaby from? That was Taco sulking about his playing time and being inactive.

I would think so too. Its hard for me to fathom him being good enough to be a 2nd round pick by this organization last year and then this year cutting him. Cowboy usually don't give up on picks that soon.

His issues are in his head. I mean that in his emotions control him good or bad

He can still be a player

I say yes. The bum that drafted him is gone. He definitely has to get stronger especially in his core to give him better balance. The problem is gallimore is already the better player by far. Trysten hill literally had zero production and zero technique with a baby body. He should have gone in the 4th at the earliest. Still can't believe they took him over Thornhill.
