Is it forced, or did Jerry ask him for a favor? Please stop it.
We know he wanted #10. He is having it forced on him.
He was going to wear 10 and Jerry stepped in.
Horrible choice! I'm not buying another 88 jersey

Disrespectful
You need to get one with a removable name plate.
Oh no. The owner of the team and the guy that signs his check suggested he wear 88 and he said yes. As any employee would. You need to stop. I thought my ex complained about everything. But you. Wow.Please stop it.

Giving out 88 to other players has absolutely no bearing on Pearson getting in the HOF or not. Voters don't care about things like that, and if they do then they need to lose their voting rights.Retiring 88 may help Pearson's HoF chances. You can't say they don't notice how willingly Jerry is giving it out to whoever wants it.
How do you think Lucky Whitehead got that nickname?“CeeDee, my uncle’s favorite dog growing up was named Lucky. Would you please get a tattoo of Lucky on your arm in honor of my uncle’s dog?” —Jerruh

Yep, zero issue with an owner slash GM forcing a player to wear a number he didn't want.Jerry will get what he wants. Jerry's teammate who recently died wore #88, and Jerry wants to honor his friend. I get it.
