Who cares about Dez? Lamb doesn't want the number that's what's disrespectful about it.
How do you know he doesn't want 88? Seriously, how do you know? Are y'all best friends and he called you up to let you know he never wanted 88 and feels so disrespected?

lol, I'm not really sure what you are saying.
I just believe Jerry and the 88 is his thing with great DC wr to him it is legacy and he used the death as leverage to get what he wants, I think most would prefer #10.

I don't know - I can see the possibility that Jerry sees 88 as historically being the premier # for a Cowboy WR, but, again, that's a hell of a huge coincidence for all that to happen for Jerry to use as an excuse, especially when he really doesn't get any benefit from it, and I also don't know that more WR's would prefer 10. There have been a lot more notable WR's over the years that wore numbers in the 80's than 10-19. Numbers in the 80's are really the norm that kids would associate with the WRs they grew up watching.

Stay safe, hope the kid is great regardless of number

I think I would prefer Lamb to be # 10, he is new , and top pick, and it would be a new # to make famous.
Dak isnt wearing # 8 and elliot isnt # 22. heck change their #s too, and jerry has the SB triplets , sell some more jerseys too.

Lamb worked his whole life for this moment. Probably dreamed about what team he would play for, what # he would wear etc. and Jerry forces him to wear 88. THIS IS BEYOND STUPID unless we find out that Lamb actually wanted 88.

I think we should change another receiver to 88 “B” just so you guys will flip out! Ha ha

I hear that we can have duplicate numbers for training camp. Let’s make about ten guys play with the 88 number.
