Does anyone happen to know about him?

Apparently we really liked him and he was in consideration for our 5th round pick per Eatman..

His Profile puts me in the mind of Blake Bell a blocking TE grunt. Strictly a blocking ace.

i think i was more intrigued with another FA tight end in Portland State's Charles Taumoepeau - could he be another Blake Jarwin type find ?

i do wonder why all our TEs have to be so damn small. - In that 240 lbs area.

Kamara , carter and Bernard I LOVE...and the A&M wr.
Seems like a few on Talking Cowboys are a huge fan of Kendrick Rogers stating that he almost single handedly beat Clemson and LSU for A&M in the past.

Granted, I think a lot of the hype comes from two games but maybe he can help spell the end of Noah Brown and become a solid #4 WR for us. Heck, I'd be happy with any of our UDFA WR's helping to churn the Garrett era bottom feeders.

He would be a solid find. He’s very inconsistent but has the big game in him.

Always nice to have a big target in the red zone as well.

I was bored and decided to check out some mock drafts put out before the draft. I wound up at Walter football.com because I remembered they always did a 7 round mock draft. So going through their final mock dated 4/23 here are some things I found:

13. Lamb
51. Diggs
68. Bradley Anae
85. Gallimore
111. Reggie Robinson
123. Tyler Badass
132. Terrence Steele
142. Stephen Guidry
150. Kendrick Rogers
186. Azur Kamara
204. Aaron Parker
217. Jet Anderson
233. Ben DiNucci - 4 spots ahead of Gordon
235. Francis Bernard
243. Ron’dell Carter

They were way off on lots of pick after the 1st round and I know this doesn’t mean anything but that’s 8 guys we got as UFA that they thought were draftable. Not to mention all but Diggs and Gallimore went earlier than we picked them. They had our entire draft besides DiNucci gone by out 4th round pick and had 15 players that are now Cowboys being drafted. Just nice to know some out there viewed many of our UFAs as draftable players.

I thought Dallas was doing pretty good with UDFAs this year. But it seems when considering consensus draft boards that they are leaps and bounds ahead of the rest.

More H-Back, less in line blocking TE.

which is exactly describes Blake Jarwin .... and what if Jarwin gets hurt ? Who then becomes our 2nd best pass catching TE ? (or H-back)
plus from what i'm reading in his profile, he has a surprise penchant knack for blocking.
Last time we had an athletic TE for that capacity that was James Hanna.

Hanna on paper was a beast. Just never played like a beast.

Hanna became somewhat of a beast when t came to in-line blocking area, in fact became our best in-line blocker.
But he was a helluva athlete coming out of OU.
i believe he ran a 4.49 at 252 pounds at the NFL combine. But he was never developed well at either college level nor here with Cowboys.
i guess he was seen as a straight-liner only And since he surprised as a blocker, the team kept and used him as such.

i'm surprised we didnt try to get a couple more 320+ 1 tech types, 4-3 type LBs, safeties, return type WRs in this undrafted rookie class.

Kenta Suzuki for one. I have a thread about 3 punters/kickers from there that I like with videos. He has a cannon of a leg on field goals. His videos show a nice range of punting styles similar to McBriar. His kickoffs are superb.

Hmmmm I haven't heard of anyone by the name of Kenta Suzuki. I even did a google search. Instead it brought up some Japanese pop star.

Can you link the article you wrote?

The Cowboys logo is very popular in Japan. I see quite a few of them wear it and have no idea what it is. They also like wearing NY Yankees gear.

If Cowboys sign a kicker from Japan, it will certainly take the country by storm and the entire nation will be Cowboy fans. They may not know how to play football. But it will certainly increase sales of any type of Cowboys gear in that country.
