Would you take Tribusky as the backup in 2021

He can run. He has some jets. he cannot throw well. Sounds like the perfect backup QB for the Bills and Josh Allen.

He had his option declined for 2021 and Dalton is just a 1 year deal. I think under McCarthy he could really refine his skills
He sucks. Bring him in as a TE.
He cannot read the field or complete a pass.

To be fair to Trumissky, Chicago is an extremely tough place to play QB, 8 games a year in a cold outdoor stadium in the windy City.
That said, He hasn't looked good on the road either.

DiNucci will have a year as the 3rd team QB, he will step up in year 2 to be a solid backup. :D

It’s not the worst idea. He’s a limited quarterback that has shown some glimpse of quality play (once threw 6 TDs in a game). As a backup I don’t think he’s a bad option:
  1. He has NFL starting experience so he knows what goes into game preparation week-in, week-out;
  2. He can run; I always like backups to have wheels because plays will inevitably breakdown; and
  3. He’d have more legitimate weapons around him than he ever did in Chicago.

If Dak signs a long term deal Tribbleoosky would be useless. Better to just get a vet backup while you refine the skills of a rookie. Sort of like we're doing.

I would rather keep Dalton and draft a rookie QB next season in round 1 or 2

No. He’s terrible. At least roll with someone who may not be terrible.

He looked great against us. He tossed three TDs and had a rushing touchdown. He put up 63 yards rushing and 244 yards passing with a 115.5 passer rating. He was 8-8 last season and did have a few good games. I would have no issue with him as a backup.
