Baltimore would have to eat 10MM in dead money,or I guess they could make him a June 1 cut to spread it out.

Zero chance, not this year.

I'd say not ever. His physical skills are already on the downside and he wasn't up to his usual standards last year. Now he's an embarrassment off the field as well.

This new team isn't desperate like the old one was, where they needed to mortgage the future to try to make up for bad coaching.

Worse than that according to this:

Unless the Ravens can find cause where he's actually voided terms of his contract, they're stuck with him.

Good for them, bullet dodged Cowboys.

I'm guessing if he's suspended under the personal conduct policy, they can void his deal. Just me, but I can see Goodell hitting him with at least a 1 game suspension. Also could they not recoup part of his signing bonus to offset the cap hit? I have no idea how that works but if any of this is true, it sounds like they are certainly looking for a way to get out the deal. In other words, they realize it's a bad contract.

I just think that they'd be crazy to do it in a year where they're probably a top 3 favorite to win the Super Bowl.

Should we make a play for him?

No way! Man good thing Dallas never traded for him....that would look awful now.

Another great non-move by the front office.

So we shouldn't make a play for an all pro safety if released because he cheated on his wife.... that's just plain dumb logic. Do you think all of the Dallas Cowboys players from the past to the present ALL were perfect husbands and boyfriends to their women??? C'mon man, catch up to reality. What crime or offense did he commit that he shouldn't be considered for employment on our team if released??? Would you be denied employment if you cheated on your wife??? That's just stupid thinking.

The problem would be performance on the field. With his head wrapped around domestic squabbles, could he be an all pro safety for the Cowboys. It is a risk.

That can be said for half the team though. You think nobody on the 53 man roster hasn't played with domestic problems at home and still performed??? I understand what you're saying but these are professionals.

Would have to be an Andy Dalton situation for me. Unexpected, quick, and cheap for no more than two years. Otherwise, I sit tight and see who else becomes available later on. I’m not starting up this romance again for a big money deal. I’ve moved on but I would double back for a cheap quickie.

I will believe it when I see it. They cannot outright release him because they do not have enough cap space. They cannot void his guarantees because technically all he was was the victim of a crime not the perpetrator. Basically you are asking me to believe that a Super Bowl favorite is willing to restructure contracts in order to make itself worse by cutting someone who did not do anything legally wrong.

The Ravens aren’t going to move on from him based on his participation in extra marital affairs. If they do, it be completely about issues on the field or in the locker room, which admittedly, I have heard nothing of

why I have to know why Woman in these cases but anyone who creates a situation where police and guns are involved but the player isnt directly responsible gets suspended? seriously it was noones business what he was doing behind closed doors and the female committing a felony brought the personal matter into the public light..very similar to zeke , so any person or female who wants to ruin a players career in revenge type manner would be allowed to continue to do this?

WRONG! ET did nothing in public ie a DUI, FIGHT , some kind of PI or publics argument or something bring attention to himself which would be the PCP Violation..

he was indoors doing private things in private residence and his insane wife/GF put a gun to his head and hes all of sudden in the wrong..

no way this can continue to be allowed, all a person has to do it create ie manufacture a situation to get their significant other suspended , lose money or lose their job? F that noise bro..this has to stop because that will be the go to move by all persons in the future when RG allows it to happen..

some of you fans are insane as you have lost touch with reality in these situations letting your personal beliefs in how a person should live their lives and convicting them on that vs that actual facts of the act..
