Don't you guys hate when people try to boost up how well a quarterback played especially when they have all those "garbage time" yards in them? Let's see what it looks like if you take out all of those garbage time yards out of it.

This is going to go over well with certain posters lol
I'm not gonna lie. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing the rebuttal.....because as of right now the only thing they have to lean on is the Eagles game he was playing with a hurt shoulder and his "garbage time" stats.....yet no one actually looked at his garbage time stats lol.

The year Romo threw for 4900 yards we also went 8-8. It's a shame that Dak had some injuries last year that messed with his accuracy in the last half of the season. I think without those injuries it would have been a different conversation this off season, at least with people less skeptical about Dak. Contract situation might have been the same.

This thread's going to go where it's going to go but are they contending that garbage time is down by 21 at the end of the game or at any point of the game? Just thinking off the top of my head, weren't we down by 21 against GB in the playoffs before we came all the way back? And wasn't KC down by 21 to Houston in the playoffs last season? It's not garbage time when it happens early in the game and you have to throw to get back in the game. Some teams do mount comebacks.

Talk about a massively broad definition of garbage time.
Down 21 points or more?
Holy .....
yeah so Dak had a ton of yards when the team was stuck being down between 10 and 20 points I suppose
8-8 was more coaching and defense but these worshippers need to give him some of the blame for the 8-8

So down 14 you believe should've been the criteria? Even though stats say the game isn't out of reach down 14?
I'm in Dak's corner anyway so I don't really care about this.
But 21 points down in the NFL is a LOT....espcially if you are on a decent team.

You can be down only 10 in the mid 4th quarter and if a team feels they are in control, they might already start going to prevent mode to some degree.
Really hard to measure in a vacuum, but you know it when you see it.

Same here, I would call garbage time, when up by 21 as well vs crap teams when he padded those numbers.

Amazing at what threads have to be started for Dakota affirmation just because we signed little old Andy Dalton.

One reeking of desperation more than the previous one......this has to be be on of the best off-seasons in a long time!

Thanks for keeping things funny here

No. I disagree. The game is still in jeopardy if you are down 10. Especially midway through the 4th. Even though its not logical.....with 2 minutes left in the game down 10 points.........there's a argument even that's still a game that's not won yet.

It doesn’t require a rebuttal. You put up the most asinine chart in the history of asinine charts. Anything that has Winston and Dak ahead of Mahomes isn't worth looking at. All it shows is how low you’ll go to prove your point (a point that only Dak can prove mind you).

Well first off I think the term "garbage time" is moronic. Down 21 points with 2 minutes left on the clock? That's garbage time. If you are even down 28 points in the 3rrd quarter to me that's not even garbage time. But "garbage time" is a term made popular by Matt Stafford and Matt Ryan and its now the term used to describe Dak. The game isn't over until its over.
