Oh 100 percent we were. Until Garrett decided to go into a shell every time we had a tough game or road game. The first 3 games we were motioning using misdirected runs and then boom. Jason couldn’t handle Moore getting credit and the Saints game happened.

Lol so he decided to stop what you said was working and commit suicide on his HC tenure out of envy:lmao: when he actually praised Moore on the job he was doing, and Moore laughing at the reporters who tried to make that claim. Also he did this right in front of Jones who told Moore he was the man calling the plays:huh:

I agree. It was mystifying how different the offensive scheme went when they got to the Saints game.
Night and day, the playcalling.
Everyone asked why would Garrett sabotage himself. My answer. He is just like Jerry and can’t handle someone else getting the credit. And also using that as an excuse to stay HC longer. He tried throwing Kellen under the bus at the end of the season lol

Of course they're right, but for years Ryle and the rest of the BTBers had their short skirts and pompons out for Garrett as much as anyone.

They gotta follow the crowd now and go Spagnola on everyone.

I like hearing from former players that have no problem telling the problems. Like Dez saying JG and the coaches had WR lining up in the same spots running the same routes for years. I wonder how much more water it would have held if a player like Witten had said it.

I am sure more will surface about JG. And if anyone has heard anything please post it. Love hearing that stuff.

It is amazing how our coaches failed to see that being highly predictable is not a good thing to be.

I agree that the vast majority of them are blatant homers, but I've always thought Ryle was one of their few reasonable writers.

But there are others like Danny Phantom that are just trash. Sunshine pumping homers that will try to exaggerate anything good to ridiculous proportions and then run and hide from anything bad. I consider the source as to whether I give it the time of day or not. Often times, you can tell just by reading the headline.

Some recent interviews put Kris Richard in the crosshairs. But it not only doesn’t let Jason Garrett off the hook, it further implicates him.

I just don't get why people want to keep bringing up the past that was so disappointing. The Cowboys have moved on from those coaches but Sportswriters and users here just can't quite let go. To me it's like picking at a scab making it take longer for the cut to heal.

No, just training you to stay on topic, rather than asking the same exact question I’ve already answered many times before.

DM me if I need to show you how to site search if you’re really interested.
Why? Is that a secret feature only a few are allowed to know. Tell us all how to do a site search.

I had heard (I don't have a link right now) that yes, Moore was calling the plays. The caveat was that JG decided on the players and formations for each play, which obviously limits what Moore can call.

So it was really a combination, Moore was technically right when he said he was calling the plays, but he was still hamstrung by red ginger.

Not a secret. Just long and off topic. Hit me up in DM if you’re really interested.

Where’d you hear this? It makes no sense.

See sig.

If the Cowboys pulled of 8-8 last year with Garrett and all the blunders his coaching staff had, imagine what this year could bring. Good times are coming folks.
I hope you are right and i feel it will be a much better team however we have been disappointed before so let's wait and see

Sounds like people speculating more than it is actual truth. We know Garrett wanted to call plays, we know Jerry said no. We also know the position coaches handled the rotation of players because that is why cooper was not on the field as it was his normal rotation off when we needed a td. Not 100% sure what Garrett controlled on game day, if he said call a pass or run play or what but he did have more input on the actual game plan which helped Dak have career highs in passing and passing TD's.
