Please post those reputable sources.
They’re posted all over this board. Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith, for example, each raved about Dak and gave him their full endorsement. Meanwhile, the analytics place him firmly in the top 10 of NFL QBs.

Don’t play dumb just because you don’t like the conclusion they point to.

Jerry believed he could rely on Dak signing a team friendly deal . Dak seems adamant to milk the team for every penny . This saga will continue until July 15 .

There is NO saga!
The tag is as good as it will get for Dak.
The writing is on the wall for Dak and his future is not bright!
We want Glory and .500 ball and beating up on dog teams at home will not produce a mega-deal for Prescott.

P.S. You folk's do comprehend this is his 5 th year coming up right??????
5th year and 1 playoff win....:(

Perhaps it's beginning to sink in that only quarterbacks who show they are truly special get marquee status and pay.
In 2019, Dak showed beyond any doubt that he is at best an average to below average quarterback. He couldn't manage to play well in any game in which the opposing teams were still contending for a playoff spot. He couldn't beat teams of equal talent; much less better teams.
Dak wants to be paid as if he has gone out and accomplished great things, but he hasn't shown that he makes the difference in close games to help the Cowboys win.
He has shown, however, that he simply plays with the team and will only be as good as they are playing at that moment in time.
He hasn't been a standout. He's been mediocre.
You don't pay top money to a guy who doesn't stand out or stand up when the team needs him to make a difference.

You proved again why there are so many ways that you make me laugh. At or below average - ya the number one ranked free agent going into free agency this off season was Prescott and so it makes complete sense that an average or below average player would be ranked #1 at least in your fantasy land. Then lets not overlook the fact that the Cowboys receiver corp led the league in drops and of course that wouldn't play into any losses in your fantasy land either. Then injuries haven't ever played into losses in your fantasy land either. Maybe Elliott having SIX subpar games, one for a total of 35 yards on 18 carries wouldn't factor into any of those losses either. Lets not forget a defense that had one of the worse 3 and out percentages in the league that left the Cowboys with constant long drive situations. That defense that ranked 30th in takeaways had nothing to do with any of those losses in your fantasy land. And then there was the special teams which in your fantasy land didn't contribute to any losses. In your fantasy land all the blame for all the losses was Prescott and Prescott only and therefore shouldn't get anything more than an average contract.

However spot-on or silly, the funny thing is always counting on the mean girls to show up, chirp and then scatter to other posts to say how indignant they are.:)

Don't like it? Don't show up, Fussy Fredos.

Skip Bayless knows less than zero
About the negotiations between Dak and the team.

But in another thread some guy named Bobby Belt is the ultimate guy on all things Dak (not saying you posted in the thread just making a comparison)...c'mon this is strictly about the fact that Skip and company don't agree with you or others, so then that makes them useless to you and others

In my opinion Dak is playing on the tag this season, he will go into camp as the starter but there will be a quiet competion between him and Dalton for the job. Dalton is going to get alot of reps in camp and the team will be taking a hard look at him

Why do you continue to post stuff from skip, SAS, cowherd, etc¿

They are talking heads. Nothing they say matters and they'll say the opposite tomorrow.

No matter how many times people are told, many never seem to listen. All of those sports talk shows are basically scripted. They have production meetings where they decide on the topics they will discuss. If the talking heads actually agree on the topic, one will be assigned to argue the other point of view as if it was their opinion. Much of what they say is not what they really believe. It is all designed to create the show and have people tweeting and posting comments and clips. That is why you can regularly catch them saying the exact opposite thing a week later, because some producer told them that was their opinion for the show today.

No..

Not at all.

I hate the crisis he is causing to my fav team.

I am about team..not players.

One needs to read what is being said.

I could care less about Dak.

Cowboys..love them.

A post like yours is what people will read and just stop there.

Whatever.

What you should say..

"Redball..is a great team fan but he is not loyal to players who he thinks are not doing their best for the TEAM."
One thing you said here really misses the mark. That Dak is creating or has created a crisis. Have you been in a locker room? The players know that this is a business, first and foremost. They have no choice, because they are treated like assets, not employees. Yes, the game is amazing. Yes, it's fun to root for your team. But the players and the coaches and everyone involved knows what's really going on - Dak is trying to take care of his business interests and that's exactly what he should be doing. There is no crisis, just part of the business of the NFL.

Can't even watch Fox Sports anymore they are becoming as bad as ESPN.

Letting go of Jason Whitlock while keeping a guy like Skip Bayless says it all and was the last straw for me.

They aren't even common sense talking heads. They are talking heads that get viewers by saying whatever is outlandish. It's rare if a nugget of truth even slides into their commentary because sensationalism is their goal, not truth or accuracy.

Those guys have dream job. they spend time sucking in the uninformed and have a good time. Pardon me but its a lot like everyone has an arse hole or an opinion. doesn't make it more true. He hasn't been in direct contact with the team.

I heard Skippy is gay. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. But he was ran out of Dallas and is a Cowboy troll. Worse show on the air. Well, he and Stephen A have a close competition.

Because if he posted content from reputable sources, they’d all make him feel like an idiot for his anti-Dak stance.

It’s only the hired clowns like Skip or Stephen A. who would even entertain the idea of not paying Dak.

Uh, in case you weren’t paying attention; Jerry and Stephen have also not been entertaining the idea of paying Dak for about a year now...

Just shows how blinded you are by your opinion if you think Skip is anti Dak.

SAS has been one of the biggest proponents of paying Dak, but I have my suspicions that its mostly because of his hate for the Cowboys.
