Niners have the goat QB, HC, S, WR, LB, and FB of all time.

What are you drinking? I'll give you Rice & Lott but Brady, Belichick, Lawrence Taylor, and a ton of FBs better than Rathman never wore the urine and brick. And what 9er LB are you talking about?

Niners and its probably not that close.

Aikman and Staubach were good, but they dont compare to Young and Montana. The rest of the offense probably goes to the Niners save the RB and some Olineman.

Defense might be a little more even. Maybe Cowboys probably have an edge there.

Coaching definitely goes to the Niners.

who gets Charles Haley - Dallas or SF?

GB, PIT, SF, DAL, NE, MIA and OAK. Any of those 7 franchises could do it and what you must first consider is not players but teams. To go with players is to commit the Dream Team mistake.

One thing all 7 of those teams had in common, incredible balance from O to D and from run to pass. And I can make a case for each of those 7 being the front runner.

The dude that used stickum?

Couldnt be my goat

The guy who at 38 was still the best WR in football. The guy who shattered receiving records BEFORE the NFL became a passing league. There is just zero debate over the best WR in NFL history. Everyone else fights for second. There is not a gap between him and everyone else, there is chasm. Peak performance, longevity, numbers, titles, Jerry Rice had it all. His records will likely not be broken even when the NFL goes to 18 games and got them before the NFL went pass happy.
