Below average was being nice.
List of things Zeke finished in the bottom 25% of RBs with 25+ catches:

Yards per route run
Receiving yards per snap
Explosive play %
Missed tackles forced per reception

He was at the top of the list in drops though!

Outside of that, he was awesome lol.

Ignorance is bliss. We all know you could go much better.

I just had to know he who he was talking to because it was someone I had on ignore, now I know why. Can you name me one stat that the ewok leads in other than carries and total yards which has been proven over and over again to be a worthless stat?

It’s not yards per carry, it’s not broken tackles, it’s certainly not speed, nor receptions, nor yards after catch, nor yards after contact, nor defenders made missed, not even short yards situations which is allegedly his forte amongst all the Cowboys fans who live in a bubble.

Other than blocking and grabbing the ball behind one of the best O lines in football, what exactly makes him “elite” or even top 5 for that matter? There’s a lot of RB’s doing much more with much less.

BTW, I’m temporarily unblocking you just to hear your response, I feel like I need to kill a few brain cells. Maybe if I converse with you for another decade I can finally get to zeke’s level.

So I give clear data about where a player stands in those categories, and you... want to call me ignorant just for stating those stats?

Nothing of substance just dropping in to make a stupid claim. You can't even make a cohesive counterpoint? Like not even one? That's so sad. Seriously it's pathetic. I'd say you could do better, but I honestly don't think you can. You might just be too far gone, too ignorant.

Starforever I'm telling you IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS, IT MAKES YOU LOOK STUPID!! Stop believing that you being ignorant isn't a bad thing.

And yet MOST of the Career NFL leaders and HoFers have "volume".
So DeMarco Murray was better than Zeke? LeSean McCoy? Chris Johnson’s rushing title puts Zeke’s yards to shame. Maurice Jones Drew? How about Curtis Johnson or Jamal Lewis? Is Ricky Williams in the HOF?

According to your logic, Zeke could be the best RB in the league in every category BUT total yards because he didn’t have the best O line or his coach didn’t hand him the ball as many times as others because they were a more well rounded team so he shouldn’t be in the HOF because he doesn’t have volume?

In case you didn’t realize, Zeke lacks in every statistical category BUT total yards and carries which could have easily been duplicated and surpassed by the top 10-15 RB’s in the league if they played under the same circumstances.

Are you really this dense?

Because... you need volume to become a stats leader or to get into HOF.... is that really your best retort? Lmao.

Again.... volume does not make you elite.

You don't see the logic flaw?

According to YOU...you need "volume" to be in the HoF.....but "volume" doesn't make you elite.

Then what is...exactly..the Hall Of Fame? Is it the "elite" or not?

Lol, unbelievable, did you even read what he said? I swear, this is like banging my head on the wall over and over and over again.

Sorry @QuincyCarterEra , you’re going to have to suffer alone on this one. Took one off ignore to kill brain cells, so I’ll save some by doing what’s long over due and putting this clown on ignore.

He's on his own. You can only lead a horse to water so many times. I'm done giving free football lessons.

So....you are arguing against what the league and stats consider the "NFL rushing champion"? If the NFL lists him as the #1 rusher...the rushing champion...then that is what I consider him as well.

Now you are gonna say it was ALL because of the o line. I once again call you out with Emmitt...not that we're talking about Emmitt but we're talking about what is considered a "great O line"...BY YOUR OWN WORDS.

Emmitt DID have a "great O line"....right? So HE wasn't elite because he got 360 carries in several seasons AND had a great o line? (As well as a #1 QB and coach, I might add) This about using consistent logic...if you even understand such a thing.

Are you really this dense?

Ah...not being called out for your stupid inconstant logic makes you "feel" smarter...lol. That is a good call on your part.
You thinking it only takes one attribute, volume in this instance, to get into the HOF means you should never call anyone stupid or dense again in your life due to hypocrisy.

I've literally never seen such stupid and dense comments come out of anyone.

Not on my own at all. I am in agreement with plenty of Cowboys fans. It's you and your BFF that are in the minority.

Weird because.. the majority of posters on this thread understand our side, and don't share common beliefs with you.

Another stupid comment. THROW IN THE DAMN TOWEL YOU ALREADY LOST 1,000 TIME OVER. Stop making yourself look worse and worse dude.

Maybe Zeke just didn't have to break as many tackles.

I would imagine that the RB with the poorest offensive line would have the most opportunities to break tackles. I would also say that teams that were behind in the 4th quarter would pass more. Therefore on the occasions they ran to keep the defense honest, they might be more successful because the defense's intensity is focused more on defending the pass.

Defenders might be less intense if they are routing their opponent. It could be that the offensive line is whipping them so bad they can barely touch the RB at times.

i guess it depends on perspective.....elite RB with the strength to break tackles routinely...........or elite offensive line with the power to get into the second level quickly, thus denying the need to break tackles.

Zeke has lost a step, is less explosive, but is still a very good runner. The offense does need him.

He is a threat out of the backfield catching the ball. He is a pretty good player.

He also taps out way too much. If that were Zeke who separated his shoulder against the Giants, he would have been in the hospital while the rest of the game was being played.
Exactly how I see him.
problem is he likes to party in offseason, not work hard to maintain his fitness, or wow even try to be better.
That is why each year he drops in effectiveness.
He is still good, but not worth what they paid him.

Its funny how people can watch something so many times and still not understand it.
I bet you made the same argument when Emmitt kept winning rushing titles.
Make the argument that volume alone makes you elite. I dare you LMAO

This should be good

Not reading all the replies but Zeke has more rushing titles than the others combined. He'll have 2-3 more I believe in the next for years.
