Hi, haters!

Looks like a guy who’s ready to be a Cowboy for life, doesn’t he?

IMPORTANT: Please remember to bottle up those sad, YUMMY tears of unfathomable sadness for me when Dak signs.

Looks like a guy that is playing a great game of chess while Jerry & Stephen are playing checkers

No...…….he is just talking to the true haters. Its pretty obvious who they are. All you have to do is scroll down. The posters with the really really dumb answers are the haters.

Personally I think we should sign him to the 4 year deal and then take the next 3 or 4 years to groom another young QB. I would be grooming and drafting talented young QB's all the time anyway.

You can't draft a QB every draft because the team have other needs. I agree that after the Cowboys sign Prescott to a long term contact, whatever it turns out to be, it woulod be smart to draft a QB and start to groom him if things don't work out with Prescott. But if Prescott does what he is being paid for then I say the Cowboys need to try to keep him.

Interesting how anyone who questions what Dallas should offer Dak is instantly a hater and is insulted by supposed 'true' fans. Stop already.
We need to start a feelings therapy thread.

It really isn’t that annoying, only the peanut gallery is annoying. It’s not like he has been missing mini camps and training camp due to the virus. Perhaps he would have signed the tender earlier if it were preventing him from participating in the camps.

It’s annoying for everyone, fans and the team. How can it not be? The guy is the starting QB with huge salary cap implications that effect everything. Having it as an open issue clouds everything they do. Why on earth would anyone want a protracted contract negotiation / uncertainty with the most important player on the team?

Yeah, nothing screams “winner” more than a football fan who hates his favorite football team’s successful starting QB!
:lmao2:
A: I don't hate the starting QB of my favorite team.

B: I don't define the success of my favorite team by how much the QB is paid or by individual accomplishments.

I think we are getting to the root of your problems though. Take some advice, ma'am. Try and find some peace for yourself. Find a way to become comfortable with yourself. Trying to elevate yourself on the back of someone you idolize, using that person's success as a platform to boost your own ego by attempting to discredit your "enemies" is a losers game.

The sooner you figure this out and take action the sooner you will be able to let go of some of this irrational anger you have towards others.

Frankly, I don't have much hope for you. Especially at your age. Old dogs can be taught new tricks but they have to want to learn. I don't see much of that in you. You have my sympathies. I feel for you. At least you will have some fleeting moments of what you consider joy looking up at your new Dak poster. You'll always have that. I think he's looking right at YOU.

Dak hate really, really perplexes me. This contract negotiation is annoying as hell and sure he struggles with consistency at times but the guy has been a steal of a 4th rounder. An absolute steal. He’s a good QB.

Nope he's the worst QB ever!!!!!!!!! Every game we lose is his fault and every game we win is because of other facets of the team. We would be better off with Dalton, Mike White or Cooper Rush!!!

All this means is, no long term contract yet and Dak is betting on himself. He needs to do well next season to get the contract he wants and his bags.

Tbh, I’d be all in next year and we are forced to pay him because he got us to the NFC championship or even Super Bowl. You could even put him up there in the top 3 QB in the league. He’s going to get paid.

Now, reality. People ask why not just pay him and show everyone these glorified stats and articles. Reality tells me that the FO wants him to prove it because they atm, don’t think he’s worth what he thinks he should get.

Awww, the resident troll has got his courage back. After cowering in fear for the past month, a single image has him happy again. Of course in a couple weeks when a negative story breaks about them not being close to a deal, you’ll be crying again. And regardless of what happens, you’re still too scared to say either way... because you don’t know and you’re scared.
Your bottom lip is quivering, troll.
And what will you do if and when they sign him on the 15th?

What are you talking about? I clearly have no inside knowledge but it appears length of the contract and average dollars are the 2 sticking points. Dak wants a shorter deal, Jerry does not. Dak’s value should be close to the CW and JG contracts signed a year ago. Dak seems to want Russell Wilson money. He is not Wilson. Still a really good player but not Russell Wilson. Negotiations have been hot and cold with both sides dug in. Besides Cousins can you name me another top QB where the contract negotiations have stretched out like this??? You can go back a few years if you want.

Don’t need to. The peanut gallery and media are the ones who have been drama queens. Both Dak and Dallas have been confident something would get done. Dak hasn’t held out, he didn’t miss anything and no relationships strained...except from the peanut gallery, most of whom don’t like anything about Dak.

4+ paragraphs?

Pretending you don’t hate Dak when your posts scream otherwise?

Yep. You’re my female dog now. Mine and Dak’s.
