CowboysZone Celebrity Tournament crowned its champion. Congratulations actress/model Emily Ratajkowski! This thread will see if there is adequate interest in a new tournament idea. First, an invitation to all those who voted in the last tournament:

More ideas can be posted in this thread. In 48 hours, a poll will be created asking site members to vote on the idea they would like created as a tournament. There will be a maximum of ten ideas to vote for (the site's polling feature allows a maximum of ten options only). Six ideas have been made already leaving a minimum of four left.

Discussion might refine and combine current ideas into one or not. That will be up to you folks to decide. In the meantime, I will be making legitimate posts (not simply bumps) in other threads, which are not the Hottest Actress, NIT Bracket, and the Celebrity Tounament threads and push them down the webpage. These have been fun in my opinion but they are starting to dominate the Off-Topic Zone front page--kinda like the Prescott, Romo, etc., threads usually litter the Fan Zone's front page on a daily basis. Ugh

You know what I would like to see.

Recipe contests for foods I don't yet know how to make! lol (I've tried and tried, but each time I try to make enchiladas, they aren't that good. Mainly the sauce sucks though I would definitely like to improve the enchiladas themselves too.)

Though, doing something like this means people would actually have to make them and try them. Getting people to actually do things is easier said that done. It also means it would take a lot longer for it to play out.

btw, if someone knows a great enchilada recipe. Please send it my way.

I like the idea of best movie franchise (minimum of 3), as suggested by @Tabascocat .

I'd like to add best superhero as a topic.

Best breed of dog could be interesting and educational, if (when) people list the pros and cons of their favorite breed.

UPDATE: I am editing the OP with the suggested ideas being posted. The running list is being sorted as:

• 1 idea per member grouped at the top
• 2 or more ideas per member grouped at the bottom
• Both groups sorted alphabetically by member's name

The list has grown to 13 ideas. Discussion will (I hope) highlight the ten ideas most liked by consensus for use in the upcoming polling thread. Not sure if @YosemiteSam 's recipe idea will be universally accepted but it is definitely making me hungry!

Tournament of the Best Comedies, Best Dramas, Best Westerns, Best Horror/Sci-Fi, Best Action/Adventure, Best Sports movies. Take the top 8 finishers in each category for the Final Faceoff to select the top Movie.

Tournament of the best Songs from each era. The 60's would be particularly interesting with American, Beach music, Motown and British Invasion competing.

By "priority" I mean that

• 1 idea per member grouped at the top - Seems like a single idea by a member would go at the top of the list.
• 2 or more ideas per member grouped at the bottom - If a member has more than one idea, all their ideas would go to the bottom of the list.

I'm sure you didn't mean it as such, but it would seem like multiple ideas are ranked lower in importance.
