Today plead guilty to 13 murders and a large number of rapes.

Listening to the crimes and one guilty admission after another from the defendant is incredibly sad and numbing...

Pure evil.

And to think his first occupation was a police officer.

Not to disparage police by way of any assumption of guilty by association, because that isn't fair and there are some really great police officers out there.

That said, a lot of people that join the police force; do so because they like the feeling of having power / authority over others. Then they go on to do terrible things abusing that power. Those are the same officers (who rise up in the force) who also protect their fellow officers when they know they did illegal actions.

This guy is likely like Dexter in the TV show Dexter. It was never enough, and he ends up going further and further until he can get the satisfaction is craves.

I wonder if he'll talk more about his situation in the future. Some killers do, some do not.

His story is so radically different from many serial killers.

Check out I’ll be gone in the dark on HBO. It is a crime documentary pertaining to the GSK. I recorded the first episode but haven’t watched it yet but looks good.

Proof that they lied to us when they told us there were no monsters. There is an interesting article in the Sacramento Bee about the Sacramento DA, Anne Marie Schubert, and her life long pursuit of this person and how her early adopting of DNA helped. Her story is an interesting one as well. She's gay but the gay community turned against her because her brother led the fight in CA against gay marriage. There has to be a movie, or several, about this woman's fight for justice, no matter how long it took her.

I can't even begin to imagine her feelings after finally apprehending this monster. I think she would have felt her life incomplete if she never caught him.

I think this is a timely story because we need some reassurance about our law enforcement and the good guys aren't getting enough play.

It's crazy to look at somebody so old and fragile and think about what a monster they were throughout their life. Not to mention how somebody could be that cold and shallow that they could commit these crimes and live with themselves.

I'm glad they got him but it's too bad most of his life is already over.

He copped the plea to continue to live and he would have been dead before they got around to executing him anyway. They really wanted to provide some kind of closure to those poor families that have been living with that nightmare for so long. I cannot imagine what they've been going through. How many times they've awakened during the night in terror.

His "Old & feeble" look is complete ********.

He was monitored by authorities for days before he was arrested and was seen moving around, including working outside like he didn't have any physical limitations.

He was also seen riding a motorcycle.

He pulled a similar stunt when he was arrest for shoplifting dog repellent and a hammer in the late 70's.

He's a coward.

I was going to go on with what I thought to do with him...........but.........that toes the line with politics so I'll just say this.....he is a waste of fresh air.

Similar to the movie Casino when the mob bosses all go to trial in wheelchairs and oxygen tanks.
