Bottom line is no one knows what Gregory’s status is except for Randy and a select few. The league seems to be iron clad with its non disclosure around suspensions.

Basically just posting this to say that Clarence Hill piece wasn’t necessarily the reality of the situation.

Leon Lett.......bet a red penny Jerry and Stephen know the source and wouldn't surprise me if they already called his a... in the office. Stephen's response tells you how sensitive it is.

Seems like this decision is gonna go right up to the start of training camp.

You’d think the league should let Gregory and the team know by then.

Here's a perfect example of why when a sportswriter uses "a source" that they are making something up. All of the people in executive positions on NFL teams know that a suspended indefinitely player can not participate in any team functions or be on team property. If they are also injured they can communicate with the medical staff and trainers to get direction on any rehab they may have to do, but they can't "be involved with the organization in some fashion" like this sportswriter wrote. There has been some occasions when the league OKed a player to use a teams facility to just rehab, but not sit in on any meetings or practices and use that facility when other players won't be there using it.
