Seriously, he got greedy **. Ill never root for him ever. He will be gone next year, hell there wont even be a season this year.

Don't be mad at Dak I firmly believe he got a massive LOW-Ball offer.

P.S.He almost ran and accepted it but it seems Jerry was unreachable....

I don’t think he will play any different than usual. Yeah he wanted his bag and played hardball. But he doesn’t seem like the kind of guy to half *** it, or be afraid of injury.

I definitely question some aspects of Dak’s talent, but not his work ethic.
I hope that's the case.

Maybe Dak should focus on winning enough games to make the postseason?

Then, if that works out, focus on winning more than one playoff game.

If Dak can lead the Cowboys out of the second round, he’ll be the first QB since Troy, after the 1995 season, to do so.

I was tempted to start yet another thread, because this is something I haven't seen asked as yet: Now that Dak is playing under the tag, is he going to play it safe and make "business decisions" to avoid getting hurt this year? Is he really going to give his all, in an effort to win a SB, or is he going to be more concerned with not jeopardizing his chances of getting a deal next year to try to make up for the deal he failed to sign?

Fair question.......I don't see playing to avoid injuries but he tends to play a little conservative anyway via avoiding interceptions. Can see that a little bit but unlike Garrett, I don't see MM putting up with that. Just me, but I think he's going to paly his axx off with a huge chip on his shoulder.

When has Dak ever not been Dak? He's going hard as always. I'm anxious to see Dak and MM vs Dak and the clapping nobody.

Could be, and I hope so. I was thinking more along the lines of running the ball vs. throwing it away. He already seems hesitant to run at times, when it looked like the best option.

Not as childish as you and your minions yucking it up saying crap like "Dak will sign long term, suck it trolls, find a new team"

Nah, you find a new team punk's. All that trolling for the cowboys to go years of misery, haha, fail.

Pack your bags after this season. And don't blame Jerry or the coaches when this punk fails.

This exactly what he should say.......I don't see the PR angle. He knows this team's window is NOW. Hell, I'd be disappointed if he was thinking anything less. Not sure why fans/posters are disappointed in the response.

As a Cowboy's fan for close to (50) Fifty years I simply cant see the team winning a Super Bowl with this player. Winning a championship means beating some of the Better teams just to get into the playoffs, then beating the Elite teams afterwards. Notice the teams poor record recently against these teams. I hope Dak proves me wrong.

good for Dak, he sat their and watched his teemates get rewarded and overpaid for sitting out with years left on their contract and not having surgery while he’s been doing all the rite things. If Dak even has a descent to slightly above average seeson without injuries, he will be in the cat birds seat next year. I wish him well.

You got it right on the money @dak! Super Bowl or bust. Best of health but till this point, what you've done just isn't it. The FO knows, majority of fans know, and majority of the NFL knows. Nice try.

That is a crock, if it was true he would understand the last thing the team needs is all the questions and scrutiny that is going to come with him not getting a deal done.
