You see a ton of Cowboys hate in DFW.Yeah there's no Cowboy hate in Houston...hell I think you'd have a hard time finding Cowboy hate anywhere in Texas.
I mean of course there is "hate" everywhere. I'm speaking more so about the ratio between love vs hate and in Texas the ratio its like 9 to 1 to me.You see a ton of Cowboys hate in DFW.
A high percentage of people who live here aren't from here. Huge swath of people from Chicago, California, New York, and all over. They bring their teams with them, which is why you see so many opposing fans at games.
Nobody intentionally moves to Houston from out of state. They move to Austin, DFW, and across the hill country.
In DFW, it's about 40% Cowboys fans.I mean of course there is "hate" everywhere. I'm speaking more so about the ratio between love vs hate and in Texas the ratio its like 9 to 1 to me.
DFW is 40% Cowboy fans? You must be high......In DFW, it's about 40% Cowboys fans.
Of course, that's the majority among specific teams, but there are a ton of Packers, Giants, Steelers, 49ers, Eagles, Saints, and Bears fans. Now, there are a lot of bandwagon Chiefs fans because of the Texas Tech connection.
The shine on the star has never been this low. A lot of longtime fans are drifting away because they're tired of how the team performs and is run.
Dallas/Fort Worth is a transient area. Most people here are not from here. Corporations headquarter here, so people move here for work. People move here for the low cost of living compared to the craphole cities on the coasts.DFW is 40% Cowboy fans? You must be high......
I'm well aware of what DFW is....that does not make your statement correct. The fanbase is much stronger than 40% you are trying to continue your doom and gloom schtick you do.....Dallas/Fort Worth is a transient area. Most people here are not from here. They bring their fandom with them.
I have lived in Houston metro area for the last 14 years. I do agree with your comment, its almost always fun but I will say this and it makes no sense to me personally.
If I asked 1000 Dallas Cowboy fans which teams they hated the most in order... Texans would be way to the bottom of the list.
You do the same With Texans Fans and the Cowboys would be in their top 2 or 3.
I think it really pisses them off that Dallas fans don't really care about the Texans one little bit.. but they love to hate the Boys.
Sure people move intentionally move to Houston from out of state. Houston isn't the size it is because nobody will move there. It's just more likely to be for work than for lifestyle like with the other areas you mentioned. You see a ton of Cowboys hate in DFW.

LOL, no schtick to it.I'm well aware of what DFW is....that does not make your statement correct. The fanbase is much stronger than 40% you are trying to continue your doom and gloom schtick you do.....
You may know "a ton of people" but you are out of touch. I know a "ton of people" and all of them are Cowboy fans but I'm not naive enough to think that everyone in the metroplex is a Cowboy fan. I mean just check who the local ratings for Cowboy games in the metroplex. That does not represent 40% of the football fans being only Cowboy fans.LOL, no schtick to it.
This sounds cocky, but I know a ton of people. I serve on multiple boards and committees with industry associations and organizations across real estate and financial sectors nationally and locally, and I proudly flaunt my Cowboys when I can. The majority of people who live here are not from here, especially through the suburban stretches that surround DFW.
Why do you think Cowboy home games are so heavily attended by opposing fans? Very few of those folks traveled here. They live here. And when their Packers, 49ers, Giants or Eagles are playing here, they scarf up the tickets.
